Race 1: BARCALDINE RACE CLUB CLASS B HANDICAP - 1000 metres
 
As Jockey C. Schumacher had become indisposed, he was replaced on HAYYLER’S TARY by App. A. Ross. Jockey C. Schumacher was advised he will need to provide a medical clearance prior to race riding again.
 
TEN GOAL POLO – Lay in down the home straight under pressure.
 
ALMAZAN – Travelled wide for the majority of the event.
 
ARGENTO PERLO – As the gates came back as the start was effected, the mare was slow away.
 
BRAYD HEART – Jumped away awkwardly.
 
SEA PRAISE – Slow to begin when the gates came back on the filly and then slow into stride.
 
 
 
Race 2: BARCALDINE RACE CLUB QTIS CLASS 3 PLATE - 1000 metres 
 
 
The start of this race was delayed when a problem became apparent with the scales.
 
HIDDEN ROAD – Slow to begin and travelled wide for the majority of the event.
 
ZIZOU SUPREME – Lay in under pressure over the last 100m.
 
CLASSY HUSSY – Slow to begin when gates came back slightly on the mare, then slow into stride.
 
GREEN LIGHT – Jockey L. Dillon was fined the sum of $400 for his excessive use of the whip.
 
 
Race 3: BARCALDINE RACE CLUB BATTLE OF THE BUSH QUALIFIER - OPEN HANDICAP - 1200 metres  
 
Jockey J. Lait was the replacement rider for C. Schumacher of SHEER PERSISTENCE.
 
FOUR IRON – Slow to begin.
 
FINAL HOPE – Jumped outwards heavily contacting an outside runner.
 
SHEER PERSISTENCE – Slow to begin.
 
GIRLS AWAY – Contacted heavily at the start when an inside runner jumped out.
 
HOT VINNI – Slow to begin and travelled wide for the majority of the race.
 
 
 
Race 4: BARCALDINE RACE CLUB BM 45 HANDICAP - 1300 metres  
 
SOUND INVESTMENT – Jumped outwards heavily contacting an outside runner.
 
NICCONI PASQUALE – Jumped inwards heavily contacting an inside runner.
 
CHATARA – Hung out down the back straight and hung in down the home straight and proved extremely difficult to ride out. A warning was placed on the gelding to see improved racing manners.
 
 
Race 5: BARCALDINE RACE CLUB CLASS 6 PLATE - 1300 metres      
 
There was a lengthy delay to the start of Race 5 as kangaroos were removed from the track prior to jumping.
 
MENACING – Broke through the gates prior to the start and was restrained by Jockey D Rewald and reloaded.
 
DENNIS DENUTO – Awkward and slow to begin.
 
BAROQUE GIRL – Slow to begin and travelled wide for the majority of the event.
 
ONEHUNDREDCLICKS – Shifted in approaching the 200m restricting a runner on the inside momentarily.
 
FAR NORTH – Eased near the 200m in when an outside runner shifted ground and was placed in restricted racing room.
 
SPURSYN – Travelled wide for the majority of the event.
 
 
Race 6: BARCALDINE RACE CLUB BM 60 HANDICAP - 1600 metres
 
There was a delay prior to Race 6 as kangaroos were removed from the track.
 
J. Lait was the replacement rider on PAR ONERI.
 
OUR BEATNIK – Slow to begin and held up for clear running at the top of the straight.
 
TUXEDO BOY – Fractious in the barriers prior to the start then slow to begin, nearing the 300m shifted in hampering an inside runner. Apprentice Doyle was remined of his obligation to keep his mount straight.
 
HUSSON’S SHOUT – Slow to begin.
 
NORTHERN MAGIC – Slow to begin.
 
PUNISHING – Slow into stride and travelled wide in the latter stages.
 
SIPPIN’BUNDY – Over raced in the early and middle stages.
 
STYLISH LUCK – Hung out rounding the home turn.
 
PAR ONERI – Eased off heels near the 300m when an outside runner shifted in, placing the gelding in restricted room.
