Race 1: MAIDEN PLATE 1090 Metres
 
HIGH RIDER – raced wide throughout.
 
TOP KNOT – reared as the start was effected and lost ground. Rider R Faehr was reminded of his obligations regarding use of the whip prior to the 100 metres. 
 
NOMILEHIGHCLUB – when asked to comment on the below market performance app H English stated the filly jumped out well during the week leading into todays race and the stable was confident of a forward showing. In light of today’s disappointing performance Trainer G Richardson indicated NOMILEHIGHCLUB would now be sent for a spell. 
 
 
 
Race 2: CLASS 2 PLATE: 1090 Metres
 
Correct Weight was delayed to allow J Hoopert, rider of second placegetter DIRTY RASCAL, to view the photo image for first. After doing so weight was declared on the semaphored placings.
 
WARNERS LANDING – slow to begin. Wide throughout.
 
BEL SELEVA – App H English was fined $200 for use of the whip more than 5 times prior to the 100 metres
 
RED BLANKET – tightened between runners at the start and lost ground.
 
 
 
 
Race 3: OPEN HDCP 1090 Metres
 
AL’S BRIEFS – rider reported inclined to lay out throughout the event.
 
JOMAR’S ELEMENT – hampered near 1000 metres when tightened for room.
 
ALAKAI – hung in near 1000 metres despite efforts of its rider. Obliged to check away from heels near 900 metres, and as a result shifted out abruptly a short distance later.
 
MURRANJI – taken wider leaving 900 metres
 
NEED FINANCE – rider R Faehr reprimanded under AR137(a) for shifting in when not clear near 900 metres.
 
 
 
Race 4: CLASS B HDCP 1212 Metres
 
AVALANCHE WARNING – checked at the start when tightened between runners.
 
PARADISKI – delayed start when difficult to load.
 
MISS MANEUVER – hampered at the start.
 
TOY MEEKA – jumped out abruptly at the start.
 
MONACO DREAM – raced wide for majority of the event.
 
 
Race 5: BENCHMARK 60 HDCP 1380 Metres
 
 
LEASE OF LIFE – App H English reported the gelding travelled well in early and middle stages of the event, however when placed under pressure from the 400 metres did not respond as anticipated. A post-race Veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
LUCIFER’S ANGEL – jumped out at the start.
