Race 1: GC PLUMBING SERVICES Class 2 Plate 1100 metres
 
WOLFF BOSS – Laid in in the home straight.
 
IN HER ZONE – Began awkwardly. Dipped near the 500m. Held up for clear running from the 300m until passing the 200m.
 
SECONDOFMAY – Began awkwardly.
 
MILLION – Slow to begin. Laid in in the home straight.
 
 
Race 2: BURCHILLS ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS Class 4 Handicap 1650 metres
 
The start of this race was delayed until 2.53pm due to storm activity in close proximity to the track.
 
RIGHTEOUSNESS – Fractious in the barriers. Began awkwardly, shifted out and made contact with RESET’S SON. Raced keenly in the early and middle stages.
 
GRATSIE – Slow to begin. Performed below market expectations, Rider S Lacey report the gelding put in an awkward stride near the 600m and failed to respond to her riding from that point.
 
THE POTATO PONTIFF – Slow to begin
 
BONSEA – Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
 
 
Race 3: DUBIOUS @ AQUIS Colts, Geldings and Entires Maiden Plate 1400 metres
 
BOHEMIAN FLYER – Rider J Murphy was dislodged en route to the barriers, the gelding galloped free for a considerable distance. BOHEMIAN FLYER was declared a late scratching by order of Stewards at 2.27pm. All monies bet for a win and/or place and concession betting on the late scratching to be refunded. All successful bets on horses prior to time of withdrawal are subject to the following deductions in the dollar from the face value of the ticket:

Place Bets (For 2nd) #3 Cheers to All - 2 cents

LITTLE NATURAL – Near the 800m was steadied when racing in restricted room to the inside of  MEMORIAL DAY which shifted in momentarily.
 
RAGI MAC – Stood flat footed and lost considerable ground, a warning was placed on the geldings record. Rider J Morris pleaded guilty to a charge under AR132(5) for excessive use of the whip, 20 occasions. Rider J Morris licence to ride in races suspended for a period of 7 days, to commence midnight 4 November 2020 and to conclude at midnight 11 November 2020.
 
RIVERKY – Performed below market expectations. Raced wide without cover throughout. Made the home turn awkwardly. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery. Trainer S Kurz advised Stewards that the gelding failed to handle the Soft 7 track conditions.
 
ROUNDUP – Rider J Woodhouse was reprimanded under AR132(7)(a)(i) in that, he used his whip on one consecutive occasion prior to the 100m.
 
EXAMINATIONS – Slow to begin.
 
Rider J Murphy was examined by QAS officers following the event and passed fit to fulfil the remainder of his engagements.
 
 
Race 4: PIERATA @ AQUIS Fillies and Mares Maiden Plate 1400 metres
 
REMEMBER BELLA – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination after being kick at the start, was subsequently passed suitable to start. Bounded at the start.
 
SARAVENGER – Rider M Palmer was granted permission to ride 1kg overweight due to there being no rider available at the allocated weight. Slow to begin.
 
TEXAS TRAMP – Began awkwardly and lost ground.
 
DIVINE ROCA – Slow to begin. Rider S Lacy reported the filly did not handle the Soft 7 track conditions.
 
BELLICE – Over the concluding was steadied when improved onto the heels of  STYK AT IT.
 
 
Race 5: TAB LONG MAY WE PLAY Fillies & Mares RATINGS BAND 0 - 58 Handicap 1200 metres
 
FANTASAY – Began awkwardly and shifted out making contact with SMARTCELLI and lost ground.  Over raced in the early and middle stages. Made the home turn wide.
 
SMARTCELLI – Bumped on jumping. Raced wide without cover throughout. Shifted in under pressure in the home straight.
 
BIG WIG – Began awkwardly
 
MIGHTY MOSHE – Began awkwardly and shifted in making contact with the hind quarters of SOMEBODY LOVES YOU.
 
 
Race 6: TAB LIVE SKY RACING VISION Colts, Geldings & Entires RATINGS BAND 0 – 58 1200 metres
 
BURNING SUCCESS – Performed below market expectations. Rider C Whiteley stated that in his opinion the gelding failed to handle the Heavy 8 track conditions.
 
MIGHTY MOOSE – Dipped near the 600m. Laid in in the home straight.
 
OUR ROCKY – Raced wide without cover.
 
ANIMAL INSTINCT – Raced wide without cover for the majority of the event.
 
SYNONYMS – Began awkwardly.
