Race 1: SPARROW HARRISON MEMORIAL BENCHMARK 45 HANDICAP 1000m
TOSS OF A COIN – Fractious in the mounting yard dislodging its rider. Fractious in the barrier prior to the start. Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was passed fit to start. Trainer S. Royes was advised that the mare must satisfactorily trial under race day conditions before again starting in a race
KING SOLOMON – Shifted outwards shortly after the start and raced wide most of the way.
MISS VALLETTA - Slow into stride and buffeted between runners soon after start.
ALOTAFOX – Raced wide in the middle stages.
BACCHUR – Raced wide in the early stages.
Race 2: TOPX CLONCURRY MAIDEN PLATE 1200m
THE BOSS’S DAUGHTER – Raced wide for the majority of the way.
BE PRESENT – Raced wide rounding home turn.
Race 3: CLONCURRY MUSTERING QTIS BENCHMARK 60 HANDICAP 1200m
CAPTAIN’S PICK – Shifted out on jumping bumping another runner
TWO OF A KIND – After an extended absence from racing, underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was passed fit to start. Buffeted between runners on jumping.
WORLD OF PAIN- Shifted in on jumping bumping another runner
BOLD SAM – Slow into stride and raced wide for majority.
LORD WINDERMERE. – Raced wide in early stages.
Race 4: CURRY PM OPEN HANDICAP 1400m
CHARLIE CAT – Raced wide in the middle stages.
LEVEL EIGHT – Raced wide in the early and middle stages. Compounded over the concluding stages. Jockey R Hancock advised the gelding traveled wide in the early and middle stages and was travelling well and making ground rounding the home turn when it dipped for a stride and got onto one rein and then commenced to lay out. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in near front leg. Trainer S Royes was advised a veterinary certificate of fitness is required prior to starting again.
SNIPPY STRATEGIC- Jockey J Babarovich was fined the sum of $200 under the provisions of AR132(7)(a)(ii) in that he did use his whip on 8 occasions, 3 more than permitted, prior to the 100m.
Race 5: CLONCURRY TYRES & BATTERIES CLASS B HANDICAP 1400m
ISA PRINCESS – Raced wide in the early and middle stages.
TIME FOR US - Raced wide in early and middle stages.
UNDER RESTRAINT – Finished tailed off. A post-race veterinary examination revealed lameness in both fore limbs. Trainer T. Parry was advised a veterinary certificate of fitness would be required prior to the gelding starting again
