SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT

From Sunshine Coast Wednesday 27.5.20 – Race 8: TAB Class 1 H’cap – 1800m

Apprentice C. Bayliss, the rider of TRUMPFUL, was found guilty of a charge of careless riding under AR131(a) in that passing the 200m he allowed his mount to shift out when not clear of RIVER OF LOVE (M. Wishart) which had to be checked when forced across the heels of LIKEABEEL, which was inclined to lay in. Apprentice Bayliss’ licence to ride in races was suspended for a period of 7 days, to commence at midnight on Saturday 6 June and expire at midnight on Saturday 13 June 2020. In determining penalty, stewards took into account apprentice Bayliss’ good record under this rule as well as the contribution to the incident by LIKEABEEL.
