Race 1: TAB VENUE MODE QTIS Two-Year-Old Handicap 1200 metres

The start was delayed when HATS received farrier attention to its near fore plate, underwent a pre race veterinary examination and was passed suitable to race.

BOUGHTA BOOM – Over raced in the early stages.

EUREKA'S VICTORY – Raced three wide throughout.

MISHANI DELIGHT – Began awkwardly and shifted in.

YANGARI – Hampered on jumping.

HATS – Slow into stride.

LEAGLESE - Laid in in the early part of the straight.

Race 2: HELLBENT FIRST CROP AT INGLIS CLASSIC BENCHMARK 78 Handicap 2200 metres

PEXBURY AVENUE became very fractious in the tie up stalls and as a result underwent a pre race veterinary examination which revealed the gelding to have sustained multiple lacerations and was subsequently declared a late scratching at 1:00pm. All monies invested on PEXBURY AVENUE ordered to be refunded. Deductions applicable to bets placed on winner and placegetters prior to 1:00pm:

Trainer I Jackson was notified that he will be required to provide a Veterinary Clearance prior to the gelding racing or trialing again.

On arrival to the barriers HAPPY GO PLUCKY under went a pre race veterinary examination at the request of the rider which revealed the gelding to be lame in its off fore leg and was subsequently declared a late scratching at 1:18pm. All monies invested on were HAPPY GO PLUCKY ordered to be refunded. Deductions applicable to bets placed on winner and placegetters prior to 1:18pm:

Trainer J Gilmore was notified that he will be required to provide a Veterinary Clearance prior to the gelding racing or trialing again.

Race 3: SKY RACING BENCHMARK 78 Handicap 1600 metres

THE IRONS – Over raced in the early and middle stages. Lost a near fore plate in running.

MARMARIS – Bumped on jumping. Near the 1000m after improving, raced with its head in the air whilst being restrained and again near the 800m was restrained improved onto heels.

GUNNOBE – Performed below market expectations and as a result underwent a post race examination which did not identify any abnormal findings. Near 500m eased when crowed between INCORRUPTIBILITY and MOSSHIKI which shifted out. Rider A Mallyon reported that after receiving interference approaching the straight the mare failed to respond to his riding and in his opinion my not have handled the conditions of today’s track.

CONGELATOR – Over raced early stages. Rider L Tarrant lost control of his reins approaching the 100m and as result was unable to ride CONGELATOR out in his usual manner.

MOSSHIKI – Tightened between runners on jumping.

INCORRUPTIBILITY – Bumped on jumping.

Race 4: XXXX DRY OPEN Handicap 1800 metres

LIGULATE – Carried wider near the 600m by ROMAKASH shifted out to improve.

MATOWI – Over raced when leading in the early and middle stages

ROMAKASH – Over raced in the early stages.

Race 5: CASCADE C,G&E BENCHMARK 72 Handicap 1200 metres

VOULAIT – Raced three wide without cover.

TESARC – Began awkwardly and over raced in the early stages. Shifted out upon straightening, bumped and carried VOULAIT wider on the track.

WOLFF BOSS – Raced three wide with cover throughout. Rider A Mallyon reported that the gelding did not handle today’s track conditions.

GENZAI THE WOLF – Began awkwardly and was slow into stride. Held up for clear running approaching the home turn and in the early part of the straight.

INDIAN THUNDER – Laid in under pressure in the straight.

SEA DRAGON – Near 650m shifted out whilst racing keenly and became awkwardly placed and the heels of WOLF BOSS. Held up for clear running rounding the home turn and until a point passing the 200m.

BONAPARTE – Rider B Thompson reported that it was his intention to be further forward however after being caught wide early stages, he elected restrain to obtain cover.

Race 6: BEST BRED BOOMS SELL IN 2021 OPEN Handicap 1200 metres

VALARIO – Raced three wide throughout.

KALIK – Raced keenly in the early and middle stages.

SHE ZA BOSS – Near the 200m shifted out to obtain clear running.

Race 7: BRC GIRL'S DAY OUT 20 MARCH F&M BENCHMARK 72 Handicap 1200 metres

FLYING MACHINE – Stable representative advised that the mare will be further forward that its previous starts. The horse settled midfield.

CHIVARGO – Bumped on jumping.

SOJOURNIST – Began awkwardly, made contact with CHIVARGO and lost ground.

ROSSMAY – Laid in under pressure in the home straight.

SCARAB – Slow to begin. Raced three without cover throughout. Trainer G Sitek was advised that the mare which performed poorly today, will be barred from Metropolitan venues until such time as its form improves to a satisfactory standard.

Race 8: MOUNT FRANKLIN QTIS Three-Year-Old Handicap 1400 metres

BATANGAS ENTRY – Leaving the 1200m was eased when awkwardly placed at the heels of BOOM SPENDER. Raced three wide with cover throughout.

BOOM SPENDER – Began awkwardly. Near the 1200m was steadied when awkwardly placed at the heels of JETTY which shifted in. Raced three with without cover throughout. Laid in under pressure in the straight.

BELLISSIMI AMICI –Began awkwardly and was slow into stride. Rider B Thompson reported that after beginning moderately the filly settle further back than he anticipated

CALM SEEKER – Reared as the start was affected and lost ground.

TYCOON EVIE – Laid in under pressure in the straight.

HE KNOWS – Began awkwardly. Near the 600m improved onto the heels of BATANGAS ENTRY as was steadied.

BUNDYANDCOKE – Began awkwardly and over raced in the early and middle stages.

Race 9: RACECOURSE VILLAGE QTIS Class 6 Handicap 1400 metres

The start was delayed when SISTER KATHLEEN had shifted it’s near fore plate en route to the barriers, and as a result underwent a pre race veterinary examination which revealed that the mare had stepped on the toe clip of the plate was subsequently declared a late scratching at 5:48pm. All monies invested on were SISTER KATHLEEN ordered to be refunded. Deductions applicable to bets placed on winner and placegetters prior to 5:48pm:
