Race 1 - Girls on Tour April 6th QTIS 3YO Maiden Plate – 1200m
 
Euro Hustler – Slow to begin.
 
Red Poet – Slow to begin.
 
 
Race 2 - Gallery Restaurant $69 Seafood Buffet Maiden Plate – 1400m
 
Smartcelli – Began awkwardly. Over-raced during the early stages. Approaching the 600m, steadied away from the heels of Sauerkraut which commenced to weaken. Leaving the 600m shifted out abruptly to avoid the fallen rider.
 
The Actress – Shortly after the start was eased when tightened for room.
 
Hollys Song – Caught wide early and restrained to the rear of the field to obtain cover. Near the 600m became unbalanced for a short distance and was then bumped by Sauerkraut which had blundered.
 
Sauerkraut – Commenced to weaken leaving the 700m and then near the 600m blundered of its own accord causing Jockey R. Plumb to be dislodged. At a subsequent inquiry, Stewards established that the incident was a direct result of the racing manners of Sauerkraut at that point. Trainer B. Ahrens was advised that the gelding must trial to the satisfaction of Stewards before it starts again. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. Jockey J. Plumb was examined by the QAS officers and cleared of any injuries and as such was able to fulfil his remaining riding engagements.
 
Sir Husson – A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have sustained a laceration to its near hind fetlock.
 
 
Race 3 - Jewel Raceday Packages on Sale Maiden Plate – 900m
 
Krakatoa Eruption – Began awkwardly.
 
Real Fancy – Began awkwardly.
 
Lightning Molly – Slow to begin.
 
Foxy Bella – Shortly after the start, blundered badly.
 
Miss Drumbeats – Began awkwardly. Leaving the 800m was steadied when tightened for room between Miss Bang and Louise of Glencoe which shifted in. Jockey B. Appo (Louise of Glencoe)was reprimanded.
 
Empty Buckets – Near the 600m was eased to avoid the heels of Miss Drumbeats which shifted in. App. J. Hodge (Miss Drumbeats) was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances. Near the 400m was disappointed for a run and held up for a short distance. Had difficulty securing clear running passing the 100m.
 
 
Race 4 - $1.5m Jewel Raceday March 16 Class 2 Handicap – 1800m
 
Stewards accepted the explanation tendered by Trainer C. Rabjones-Tyrell for the late declaration of Jockey A. Spinks.
 
Meyiwa Hitam Mawar – Over-raced in the early and middle stages. Cast its near hind plate in running.
 
Relaxed – Held up rounding the home turn.
 
Legal Girl – Jockey R. Plumb reported that the mare failed to run out a strong 1800m.
 
Jockey G. Colless (Relaxed) was reprimanded for excessive use of the whip prior to the 100m.
 
 
Race 5 - Membership the Perfect Gift on Sale Class 5 Handicap – 1100m
 
San Sierra – Caught wide early and allowed to stride forward to obtain the lead near the 800m.
 
Jakuta – Raced wide in the early stages and allowed to stride forward to settle outside the leader near the 600m. Near the 50m was eased to avoid the heels of Shes Choosie which shifted in. App. L. Kilner (Shes Choosie) was advised to exercise more care.
 
After the running of this race, the track was upgraded to a Good 3.
 
 
Race 6 - $500K Aquis QTIS 2YO Jewel Class 1 Handicap – 1100m
 
Lord of the Dreamz – Reared in the barriers, underwent a veterinary examination and was cleared to start. Shortly after the start commenced to buck, dislodging Jockey J. Woodhouse. Trainer A. Plumb was advised that the gelding must complete an Official Trial to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to racing again. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. Jockey J. Woodhouse was examined by the QAS officers and cleared of any injuries and as such was able to fulfil his remaining riding engagement.
 
Bachelors Art – Bumped at the start. Held up approaching and rounding the home turn and bumped Thats Madness on a number of occasions passing the 400m when attempting to shift out to secure clear running.
 
Inkblot – Bumped at the start. App. C Frater-Hill reported that it was her intention to ride the gelding in a forward position, however, despite her efforts in the early stages, the gelding failed to muster the necessary speed and she therefore elected to obtain cover.
 
Miss Makepearce – Hampered when tightened for room at the start. Near the 800m improved onto heels and shifted out. Raced wide without cover for the remainder of the event. Forced wider rounding the home turn.
 
Lady Vixen – Began awkwardly.
 
Tiz – Near the 800m was taken wider and raced wide without cover for the remainder of the event. Forced wider rounding the home turn.
 
Thats Madness – Rounding the home turn was bumped by Bachelors Art on a number of occasions.
 
 
Race 7 - $500K TAB A.D. Hollindale Stakes Class 3 Plate – 1400m
 
Kuiper – Began awkwardly and bumped Ivys Dream. Raced fiercely in the early stages and as a result shifted wider on the track. Hung out rounding the home turn.
 
Ivys Dream – Bumped at the start.
 
Nelumbo – Near the 1000m was forced wider and had to be restrained to obtain cover. Approaching the 100m had to be eased from the heels of Ivys Dream and shifted back to the inside of that runner to secure clear running.
 
Wackem – Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
Lefkas Island – Forced wider rounding the home turn.
 
Ten Taubadas – Jockey G Colless reported that the gelding did not stretch out over the final 200m and may not have appreciated todays track conditions. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.
 
 
Race 8 - Jewel Lawn Party on Sale Class 1 Handicap – 1300m
 
Stewards accepted the explanation tendered by Trainer B. Hill for the late declaration of Jockey S. Galloway.
 
Boomista – Slow to begin.
 
San Pierre – Bumped at the start.
