Race 1: SCI-FLEET HINO QTIS Three-Year-Old Fillies Handicap - 1200 metres
 
MISHANI MISS – Slow to begin.
 
MISS LOT WON – Race wide without cover. Over-raced in the early stages. Bumped and carried wider near the 450m when SALBRIS shifted out to improve. Laid in near the 350m and was steadied to avoid the heels of SALBRIS. Weakened over the concluding stages.
 
AVENTURINE – Raced fiercely in the early and middle stages. Trainer T Gollan stated that in his opinion the filly had come to the end of its preparation and would now be spelled. A post-race swab sample was taken for analysis.
 
BETTER THAN BEST – Began awkwardly.
 
DASH FOR DREAMS – Slow to begin.
 
SALBRIS – Slow to begin. Near the 450m shifted out to improve andbumped with MISS LOT WON.
 
 
Race 2: APG WORKFORCE Class 3 Plate - 1400 metres
 
METAMORPHIC – Laid in under pressure in the early part of the home straight.
 
DON'T STOP – Fractious in barrier prior to the start. Over-raced in the early and middle stages.
 
OUR ECHO – Slow to begin.

STILL INVINCIBLE – Performed below market expectations, Rider B Nothdurft could offer no explanation for the disappointing performance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed slow recovery.
 
DIVINE DECADENCE – Raced wide without cover.
 
HEATHROW – Slow to begin.
 
 
Race 3: CRONIN MILLER LITIGATION BENCHMARK 90 Handicap - 1400 metres
 
PRIORITISE – Slow to begin.
 
TARBERT – Slow to begin.
 
RUN FOR GLORY – Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
 
PALACE TYCOON – Lost a near hind plate.
 
 
Race 4: QUINN FAMILY LAW QTIS Three-Year-Old Colts & Geldings Handicap - 1200 metres
 
SHOOTING FOR GOLD – Raced greenly under pressure in the home straight and was steadied near the 50m.
 
DISARMED – Rider T Wolfgram was reprimanded under AR132(7)(a)(ii) for the use of his whip on 6 occasions prior to the 100m, one more than permitted.
 
MIDLAND – Change of tactics: to be ridden off pace with cover; settled at the rear. Slow to begin. Near the 1100m shift in bumping with MAYA BAY. Over-raced in the early and middle stages. Had difficulties obtaining clear running rounding the home turn and in the early part of the home straight. Raced in restricted room over the concluding stages.
 
MAYA BAY – Slow to begin. Bumped near the 1100m and raced ungenerously for a short distance.
 
 
Race 5: SOUTH COAST RADIOLOGY BENCHMARK 78 Handicap - 2200 metres
 
OCEAN ADDICT – Over-raced in the early and middle stages. Laid in near the 400m.
 
JOYMAKER – Slow to begin. Near the 400m hung out and was steadied to avoid the heels of OCEAN ADDICT which laid in. Performed below market expectations, Rider R Maloney stated that the mare was slow to begin, and after being hampered on the home turn did not finish the event off as expected and was disappointing. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer K Schweida advised the mare would be spelled.
 
HE RUNS AWAY – Began awkwardly. Over-raced in the early stages and was restrained to avoid heels between the 1800m and 1500m. Lost a near hind plate.
 
LADY SOLERNO – Apprentice S Tomlinson reported that his mount put in several awkward strides after the start and refused to stride out, as a result settled further back than anticipated. Laid in under pressure in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to be lame in the off fore limb. Trainer R Cameron was notified that he will be required to provide a Veterinary Clearance before the mare races or trials again.
 
SNIPPETSPEED – Near the 1800m when over-racing was steadied when crowded for room, when STARDOME (L Dittman) shifted in when not clear. Rider L Dittman (STARDOME) was advised to exercise far greater care in similar circumstances.
 
CORSINI – Shifted wider near the 1300m to improve.
 
HOLBROOK – Raced wide in the early stages, before being permitted to stride forward passing the 1500m.
 
 
Race 6: BIRKBECKS JEWELLERS No Metro Wins Handicap - 1200 metres
 
DREAM MASTER – Raced wide in the early and middle stages.
 
JACKPOT JAY – Slow to begin.
 
BEAUFORT PARK – Began awkwardly.
 
FUJI FLYER – Raced wide throughout. Shifted out under pressure near the 100m and bumped FRENCH OCEAN.
 
FANAAR – Slow to begin.
 
METSON – Laid out under pressure over the concluding stages.
 
THE MOVE – Began awkwardly. Apprentice G Cartwright stated that after beginning awkwardly, she pressured her mount to go forward, the gelding then refused to settle and over-raced, as a result did not finish the event off as expected.
 
FANX – Began awkwardly. Near the 1050 was restrained when BOLD XAVVI (J Huxtable (a)) shifted in when not clear. Apprentice J Huxtable (BOLD XAVVI) was advised to exercise far greater care in similar circumstances.
 
STAY SMART – Inconvenienced at the start by BEAUFORT PARK which shifted out, as a result lost ground.
 
FRENCH OCEAN – Raced wide throughout. Bumped near the 100m.
 
 
Race 7: SKY RACING PINK RIBBON CUP - 1300 metres
 
SHE ZA BOSS – Raced wide without cover.
 
KISUKANO – Rider M Du Plessis report that the filly did not feel comfortable on todays track.
 
 
Race 8: SIMMONS LIVINGSTONE & ASSOCIATES OPEN Handicap - 900 metres
 
FREDDIE FOX TROT – Slow to begin.
 
SPURCRAFT – Difficult to load, fractious in the barrier and began awkwardly.
 
WUDANG BLADE – Dictated inwards near the 800m.
 
HIGH COST – Near the 800m, clipped the heels of WUDANG BLADE and blundered.
 
Brad Stewart rider of ZOUSTYLE was found guilty of careless riding under AR131(a) in that near the 800m he permitted his mount to shift in when not clear of WUDANG BLADE which was dictated to and carried  in across HIGH COST resulting in that gelding clipping heels and blundering. Rider B Stewart’s licence to ride in races was suspended for a period of 13 Days to commence at the expiration of his suspensions previously incurred, midnight 12 October 2020 and to expire midnight 25 October 2020. In assessing penalty Stewards deemed the interference to be mid-range.

HAPPY GO PLUCKY – Raced wide in the early stages. Lost a off hind plate.
 
SLOW HANDS - Slow to begin.
 
GLEN ORD – Shift out at the start and bumped MAYBACH.
