Race 1: ARTRAGEOUS BenchMark 60 Handicap  (1194 METRES)
 
SHORTSPRESSO dwelt at the start and was slow into stride. After returning to scale was examined by the veterinary surgeon and was found to be showing a slow recovery rate.
 
Race 2: FIORENTE BenchMark 45 Handicap (1000 METRES)
 
As jockey Matthew Gray missed his flight he was replaced as the rider of MEG’S INHERITANCE by jockey John Stephens.
MEG’S INHERITACE trainer reported it had lost a hind shoe when arriving on course. Due to no farrier being on course stewards permitted the removal of the other hind shoe and the announcement was made prior to betting that MEG’S INHERITANCE would race without shoes in the hind, raced 3 wide without cover.
SAME OLD STORY was slow into stride.
 
Race 3: MIGHT & POWER Maiden Plate (1000 METRES)
 
As jockey Matthew Gray missed his flight he was replaced as the rider of DUAN DUBAI by jockey Gemma Steele. Stewards permitted Gemma Steele to ride 1.5kgs overweight as there was no other rider available.
DUAN DUBAI was slow into stride.
CLEAR THE DEBT raced 3 wide without cover.
FRENCH OUTLAW began awkwardly and was slow into stride then raced 4 wide without cover.
 
 
 
 
Race 4: SUBZERO OPEN Plate (1000 METRES)
 
SOCIETY QUEEN raced 3 wide without cover.
Prior to correct weight being declared jockey Dale Evans the rider of EXSTRATUM made application to view the patrol footage in regards to lodging a possible protest. After viewing the available footage jockey Dale Evans elected not to proceed.
EXSTRATUM tightened for a couple of strides at the 850 metres when another runner shifted in.
ELDIYM apprentice jockey Nicole Seymour was issued with a reprimand for shifting ground at the 850 metres when not clear.
 
Race 5: EFFICIENT BenchMark 55 Handicap (1517 METRES)
 
Stewards permitted jockey Shane Shield to ride ONEMORETWOLESS 1kg overweight due to no other rider being available.
LUCKY TICKET and HULK HENRY bumped at the start.
COOEE MARCH began awkwardly.
HULK HENRY raced 3 wide without cover.
