Race 1: HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAVID WILD & LUKE FING QTIS ADDED STAKES MAIDEN PLATE - 1200M
DARK ROCKER – Began awkwardly.
 
HUSSEYS HOG - Began awkwardly.
 
D’OR DAME - Began awkwardly. Weakened over the final stages of the event.
 
Race 2: AGRI SMART BENCHMARK 60 HANDICAP – 1200m
ONLY CHOICE - Slow to begin.
 
ESSAKA – Began awkwardly making contact with another runner to the inside. Hung out throughout.
 
MANOVERBOARD – Tightened for room between runners upon jumping and lost significant ground.
 
Race 3:BLACK TRUCKS BENCHMARK 50 HANDICAP – 1000m  
WILL TO RULE- Restrained from heels for a short distance approaching the 850m.
 
BACKUP BILLY – Tightened for room upon jumping. Shifted in abruptly approaching the 850m placing another runner in restricted room. Continued to shift in at the 850m making heavy contact with another runner to the inside. Apprentice T. Townsend plead guilty to charge of careless riding under AR.131(a) in that she permitted her mount to shift in abruptly when insufficiently clear of runners to her inside at that point. Apprentice Townsend’s licence to ride in races was suspended for a period of 9 days to commence at midnight the 14th September and to expire midnight the 23rd September 2019.
 
JOLEN JOLEN – Began awkwardly.
 
LADY SELKIE – Bumped by another runner to the outside at the 850m.
 
 
 
Race 4: VERN KLEINSCHMIDT XXXX GOLD GOONDIWINDI CUP OPEN HANDICAP – 1400m

TARWYN BLUE – Slow to begin.
 
KASTANOS - Trainer Mr B. Hudson reported to Stewards that his horse had pulled up sore post -race. Mr Hudson was advised to report any injury or soreness to Stewards as soon as practical.
