Race 1 – COOPS BENCHMARK 50 HANDICAP- 1400m
Jockey G Swowdens good record was taken into consideration when he was reprimanded for being late on course.
 MARINE CORPS- Slow to jump.
PRIOR ENGAGEMENT- Jumped inwards at the start.
PATRICKS ME MATE- Jumped inwards contacting another runner then raced wide throughout.
FOXLEIGH- Was wide without cover in the early and middle stages.
TEYA- Was wide in the middle stages.
IF BY CHANCE- Showed no early pace and dropped to the rear despite the urgings of apprentice T Townsend, than ran on strongly over the latter stages of the race.
Race 2 – STRATEGIC SAFTEY AND TRAINING CLASS B HANDICAP- 1000m
CATHVALANNA- Jumped awkwardly and lost ground.
LET HIM FLY- Slow to jump.
JOLEN JOLEN- Restless in the barriers. Held up approaching the home turn.  
TURMOIL- Slow to jump and lost ground racing between other runners shorty after the start.
SMARTY JACK- Jumped in tightening another runner at the start. Made the home turn very wide.
SHELLY’S DREAM- Difficult to load and brushed another runner on jumping away.
TRY ME CHOICE- Returned to the mounting yard in a distressed state with some blood in the mouth and appeared that the horse had got her tongue over the bit.
Race 3 – RAILWAY HOTEL RATING BRAND 0 – 55 HANDICAP- 1200m
Apprentice A Taylor contacted stewards to advise that she experienced car problems and would not attend today’s meeting. Replaced by Apprentice I Rabjones
SEEBIX- Jumped with her head in the air and lost ground. Raced ungenerously at the 900m with her head in the air. SEEBIX then tended to hang out and then failed to run on as expected in the home straight.
BOLD CRUSADER- Raced wide with no cover.
SHIVER ME TIMBERS- Jockey S Sweedman reported that he was wide without cover throughout and felt that the hard run told on the mare over the concluding stages.
RESONARE- Was very wide on the home turn.
Race 4 – JOHN EDMONDSTONE OPEN HANDICAP- 1200m
Jockey S Sweedman reported that he would be unable to make the weight on SURPREME HARMONEY. Replaced by S Lacy. Jockey S Sweedman advised that he took the ride as Jockeys were in short supply at today’s meeting. As Jockey Sweedman’s recent record in this regard was good, a reprimand was issued
SURPREME HARMONY- As the gelding’s last start was over 1600m it was unable to show early speed and was a long last.
SILENT FLYER- Apprentice T Townsend reported that although the gelding raced wide it appeared flat from the 500m, wanted to hang out and failed to run on in the home straight.
RITCHFORD- The starting stall was slightly slow to open and RITCHFORD lost ground. As the gelding finished 3rd, it was unable to be declared a non-runner as a result of this incident.
Race 5 – MARSCHALLS GROUP MAIDEN PLATE- 1200m
There was a delay in starting this race, as several kangaroos had to be removed from the track
MY BYE- Jumped out at the start.
