Race 1: HUGHENDEN JOCKEY CLUB QTIS BenchMark 50 Handicap - 800M

FLINDERS HIGHWAY - Reluctant to load into the barriers. Jumped inwards contacting with another runner.Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
SERIOUSLY HAPPY - Bumped by another runner on jumping and lost ground. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
PALM SPRINGS - Jumped outward at the start. Raced wide for the majority of the race.

RIPPER REEBA - Reluctant to proceed to the barriers.Raced wide from the 400 metres.
 
NATURAL CONNECTION - Performed disappointingly. Rider advised soon after start the gelding lost its galloping rhythm losing considerable ground. The gelding had pulled up with no abnormalities.
 
Race 2: FLINDERS SHIRE COUNCIL QTIS BenchMark 50 Handicap - 800M
 
FINE FERGUS-Late scratching at 1.50pm by order of Stewards acting on veterinary advice.After entering out onto the track the rider reported he believed gelding to be stepping short in its action. A Veterinary examination revealed the horse to be lame in its front leg. Prior to the declaration of correct weight Stewards ordered that all monies invested on FINE FERGUS were to be refunded and that all successful bets for the win were to be paid with a deduction of nineteen (19) cents in the dollar on the face value of the ticket and successful bets for the place were to be paid with a deduction of sixteen (16) cents in the dollar on the face value of the ticket. Trainer T. Parry was advised a veterinary certificate of fitness is required prior to the gelding starting again.
 
NOTHIN’ ZAPPENIN’- Fractious in barriers prior to start.
 
SKY CLASSIC - Reared as start was effected losing considerable ground and took no active part in the race.No action taken against the mare as there were extenuating circumstances.
 
HUNTING – Raced wide for the majority of the race. Rider reported near the 400 metres his saddle began slipping which placed him at a considerable disadvantage.
VALDERON- Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
 
Race 3: FLINDERS SHIRE COUNCIL BenchMark 60 Handicap - 1000M
 
I’M USAIN - On entering out onto the track made heavy contact with the outside fence of the mounting yard. A Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities and the gelding was cleared to start. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
LEROY ROCKS - On application from the trainer, Stewards permitted a tongue-tie be worn by the gelding. Jumped outwards at the start.
 
MANDALONG PASS - Jumped outwards at the start. Raced wide for the majority of the race.

WICKED WIKI - Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
MEXICAN MOUNTAIN - Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
ZOU DER ZEE - Raced wide rounding the home turn.
