Supplementary Report

From Deagon, 14.7.19

Stewards today concluded an enquiry into Race 3 Kilcoy 13 April 2019 whereby apprentice S Wilcock, the rider of BUCKS ME BOY, when approaching the home turn appeared to clip heels, blunder and apprentice S. Wilcock was dislodged. Apprentice Wilcock was transported to Caboolture Hospital and later cleared of any apparent injuries.

Stewards after considering todays evidence from apprentice Wilcock, apprentice Miki Nakao SEVENTY BELOW and apprentice Hannah English LOVES WOGER WING regarding the incident and also reviewing the official films, were of the view that approaching that point, apprentice Wilcock when attempting a run between SEVENTY BELOW and LOVES WOGER WING accidently clipped the heels of the tiring LOVES WOGER WING and dislodged apprentice Wilcock.

Stewards were satisfied that no other horse or rider contributed to the incident and advised apprentice Wilcock to exercise greater care when changing positions in future.
