RACE 1: SIRROMET BUNDAMBA PLATE QTIS TWO-YEAR-OLD HANDICAP 1350 METRES
 
MINTO'S PARADISE – Near the 450 metres, eased when tightened to the inside of HOT PROFIT, which laid in upon tiring. Near the 200 metres, became unbalanced after being buffeted between GENERAL WOLFFE, which laid inwards, and BAYERISCHE, which shifted outwards slightly.

HOT PROFIT – Raced keen in the early stages. Raced three-wide without cover throughout. Near the 200 metres, when laying inwards had to be eased off the heels of MINTO’S PARADISE, which shifted out.
 
BAYERISCHE – A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be displaying a small laceration on its chest.
 
HODGSON – Raced three-wide with cover throughout.
 
GENERAL WOLFFE – Slow to begin.
 
 
RACE 2: CARLTON MID IPSWICH MILE BENCHMARK 80 HANDICAP 1666 METRES
 
INDISPENSABLE – Raced three-wide without cover throughout.
 
CAPTIVATOR – Broke down and was eased out of the race near the 500 metres. The gelding underwent a veterinary examination and was humanely euthanised. Swab samples were taken for analysis.
 
DASHING SPECIAL – Slow in to stride. Was inconvenienced when CAPTIVATOR was eased out of the race near the 500 metres.
 
PROSPECTUS – Passing the 100 metres, had to be eased outwards away from the heels of ZIGALLENE.  
 
SOKUDO – Slow to begin after jumping away awkwardly.
 
 
RACE 3: CHANNEL SEVEN WINTER PROVINCIAL STAYERS (FINAL) BENCHMARK 78 HANDICAP 2500 METRES
 
ACCESSORY – Raced keen in the early and middle stages.
 
LADY SOLERNO – A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to be displaying lacerations on its near off hind limb consistent with being galloped on.
 
WILDWOOD JADE – Raced three-wide from the 1400 metres.
 
KIPPAX – Was held up and unable to improve between the 600 metres and the 500 metres.
 
SCILAGO – Was held up and unable to improve approaching the turn in the home straight.
 
BOLD DELAGO – Approaching the 1000 metres, had to be eased after becoming awkwardly placed on the heels of LADY SOLERNO. Had a tendency to lay in during the home straight.
 
 
RACE 4: RAY WHITE IPSWICH NO METRO WINS HANDICAP 1350 METRES
 
COLPO DI TAMBURO – Dipped on jumping.
 
WESTLINK – Eased out of the race near the 1000 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be displaying severe lacerations to its off hind hock consistent with being galloped on. Trainer D Hyde was advised that a veterinary certificate would be required prior to the gelding racing again.
 
RED BLOOM – Commenced to overrace near the 1200 metres. Approaching the 1000 metres, shifted outwards becoming awkwardly placed on the heels of WESTLINK. Raced three-wide from the 900 metres and was ridden forward to obtain a position outside the leader near the 600 metres.
 
DIVINE DIVA –The mare underwent a pre-race veterinary examination upon the request of its rider M Cahill and was cleared to start.
 
BUZZER BEATER – Overraced in the early stages. Near the 1200 metres, had to be restrained from the heels of AT WITZ END. Rider B El-Issa was reminded of his obligations to ride his mount out to the finish line. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a small laceration on its inside right fore fetlock.
 
SISTER KATHLEEN – Slow to begin.
 
 
RACE 5: SCHWEPPES TL COONEY 3YO 1350 METRES
 
OUR PLAYBOY – Raced three-wide without cover throughout. Was crowded for racing room and checked over the concluding stages. C Williams, rider of PALAISIPAN, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding pursuant to AR131(a) in that passing the 100 metres he made insufficient effort to straighten his mount, resulting in it carrying DZSENIFER (J Byrne) outwards, thereby crowding OUR PLAYBOY (B Thompson) onto the hindquarters of PALLADAS (R Maloney) and resulting in OUR PLAYBOY losing ground. Rider Williams’ licence to ride in races was suspended for a period of nine (9) days to commence at midnight on 26 June 2021 and to expire at midnight on 5 July 2021.
 
SAFEWORK – Had difficulty obtaining clear running in the home straight.
 
CRACKER ESSGEE – Pulled hard early.
 
BATANGAS ENTRY – Near the 250 metres, steadied when momentarily crowded to the inside of SAFEWORK.
 
PALLADAS – Slow to begin after jumping away awkwardly. Raced three-wide with cover from the 800 metres. Lost its off hind plate in running. A post-race veterinary examination revealed that the gelding stepped on the toe clip of its off hind racing plate and as a result was lame in its off hind. Trainer T Gollan was advised that a veterinary certificate would be required prior to the gelding racing again.
 
DZSENIFER – Dipped on jumping. Disappointed for a run at the 250 metres.
 
 
RACE 6: RIVER 949FM CLASS 6 PLATE 1200 METRES
 
BAANONE (NZ) – Trainer Tony Sears was fined $100.00 pursuant to LR67(1) for failing to declare a rider for BAANONE by the prescribed time. Slow to begin after jumping away awkwardly.
 
DESERT LORD – Raced three-wide with cover in the early stages.
 
FUJI FLYER – Slow to begin.
 
ROMAN AUREUS – Slow to begin. Unable to secure clear running between the 350 metres and the 100 metres.
 
ZIEMBA – Raced three-wide with cover in the early stages.
 
READY TO HUMBLE – Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
 
RACE 7: TAB IPSWICH CUP 2150 METRES
 
SO YOU WIN – A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be short striding in the front.
 
HUMBOLT CURRENT (GB) – Raced keen in the early stages.
 
VICTORY EIGHT (NZ) – Slow to begin.
 
PICKA PLUM (NZ) – Dipped shortly after the start.
 
 
RACE 8: CITY OF IPSWICH EYE LINER STAKES 1350 METRES
 
AMISH BOY – Had difficulty obtaining clear running from the 400 metres to the 100 metres.
 
MR BELLAGIO – Raced keen in the early stages. Raced three-wide without cover throughout.
 
STAMPE – The gelding took charge of its ridee enroute to the barriers doing a circuit of the track. The gelding underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was subsequently declared a late scratching on veterinary advice at 3:53pm by order of Stewards.

Prior to the declaration of correct weight, Stewards declared all bets on STAMPE be refunded in full with the following deductions to apply:

6 cents the place (AXE)
12 cents (RIGHT OR WRONG)

RACE 9: IPSWICH TURF CLUB GAI WATERHOUSE CLASSIC 1200 METRES
 
PENNINO – Stewards permitted rider J Bayliss to replace rider T Brooker on medical grounds.  
 
NIEDORP – Inconvenienced over the concluding stages.
 
BLAZING MISS – Was held up for clear running from the 400 metres until the 50 metres.
 
INTREPIDACIOUS – Was held up for a short distance in the early part of the straight.
 
SOCIALISING – Slow to begin.
 
LILLEMOR – Raced three-wide without cover throughout.
 
BAREFOOT – Was held up for a short distance near the 300 metres. Laid inwards during the straight.
 
GEM OF SCOTLAND – Was inclined to lay outwards and had to be eased when the mare became awkwardly placed on the heels of PENNINO near the 900 metres.
 
SMART 'N' SEXY (NZ) – Lost ground when crowded on jumping between LILLEMOR and EURO BELLE, which jumped inwards. Shortly after the start had to be eased off the heels of EURO BELLE, which shifted in. Had difficulty obtaining clear running in the straight and shifted inwards, inconveniencing NIEDORP over the concluding stages.
