Race 1: SNOW & MARY HALL MEMORIAL MAIDEN PLATE - 1000 metres
 
DROGON – Awkward away and carted wider on the track in the early and middle stages when and inside runner hung out.
 
NAZARIO – Brushed SUPER SID on jumping, raced greenly and run about down the home straight. Jockey S.Galvin was reprimanded for use of the whip, one more than permitted. AR132(7)(a)(i).
 
SUPER SID – Fractious prior to the start and reared prior to jumping.
 
THE LAST DRAGON – Slow into stride and shied away from an inside runner carting DROGON wider on the track and hung out rounding the home turn.
 
Race 2: RAMSEY PASTORAL COMPANY BM 55 HANDICAP - 1000 metres 
 
OUR GIRL TAMIYA, FOR THE RECORDS, SEDUCTION & SIXES were all scratched as there were no jockeys available.
 
EL DEMONIO – Finished tailed off. A post-race veterinary inspection showed lameness in the offside hind leg. Connections were advised a veterinary clearance would be required prior to racing again.
 
WICKED GRIMSHAW – Travelled wide in the early and middle stages.
 
HOGES – Dipped on jumping.
 
MS WICKED NICCI – Jumped outwards and slow to muster speed then raced wide for much of the race.
 
KURIL FOX – Travelled wide for much of the race.
 
 
Race 3: BRAIDWOOD INVESTMENTS QTIS CLASS 6 PLATE - 1200 metres  
 
LEO’S EXPRESS – Dipped on jumping dislodging jockey B. Richardson. Jockey Richardson was treated by ambulance officers on course and taken to hospital for further examination and treatment. Jockey B. Richardson was advised a medical clearance would be required prior to riding again.
 
ARCHADE – Travelled wide for much of the race and impeded by the rider less horse down the straight and could not ride mount out to the line.
 
ROSEXCEL – Eased off heels leaving the 1000m when the rider less horse carted ZILITOR inwards.
 
ZILITOR – Taken in leaving the 1000m causing runners to the inside to take hold and eased off heels nearing the 750m when the rider less horse shifted ground again.
 
 
Race 4: GREAT DAY OUT JUNDAH CUP BM 69 HANDICAP - 1200 metres      
 
There was a slight delay to the start of this race to allow Ambulance officials to tend to jockey Richardson.
 
COROGLEN was a late scratching at 2.45pm as jockey B. Richardson was injured and there was no other rider available.
 
ARGENTO PERLO – Slow to begin and travelled wide in the middle stages with cover.
 
SHOW ‘EM – Travelled wide in the early and middle stages without cover.
 
HUSSON’S SHOUT – Hard ridden and could not maintain contact with the front markers in the early stages.
 
Race 5: SMILEY TRANSPORT & HILLY MAUNSELL MEMORIAL CLASS B HANDICAP - 1400 metres     
 
SASSY STYLE & MICHELIN FIVE STAR were late scratchings as there were no jockeys available.
 
GEISSLER was a late scratching at 2.45pm as jockey B. Richardson was injured and there were no other riders available.
 
GREY FALCON – Slow to muster early speed.
 
MOTUEKA RIVER – Travelled wide in the early and middle stages.
 
LUBYOUFOREVER – Jumped on terms and travelled for a short distance before dropping back through the field and did not respond to the riders urging.  A post-race veterinary inspection failed to reveal any abnormalities.
