Race 1: QLD COUNTRY JOCKEYS HONOUR ROLL TOUR MAIDEN PLATE - 1000 metres


ARE YOU REAL – Slow to begin after being contacted by the gates on jumping.

TANTALISING MISS – Jumped awkwardly and was slow to muster speed. Jockey E. Bell stated her mount raced greenly throughout.


Race 2: SIMSTOCK & BALLARD BM 65 HANDICAP - 1000 metres


HAZAR, FLEW SHOT & KURIL FOX were declared late scratchings due to no riders available.

CHARLES – Ducked in shortly after the finish line contacting LEO’S EXPRESS.

ZENDAYE – Contacted at the start.

BETTER THAN GOLD – Jumped inwards contacting ZENDAYE then travelled wide for most of the race.

Race 3: LONGREACH TAVERN QTIS CLASS 1 HANDICAP - 1100 metres

VIKING CLAP, NAZARIO, BROOKVILLE & ANGRY DESERT were declared late scratchings due to no available rider.

Prior to the declaration of correct weight, E Bell rider of second placegetter CHEEKY CHOPS requested to view the photo finish. After viewing the print, she was satisfied with the judges; placings and correct weight was declared.

SE RENDRE – Jumped outwards and travelled wide for much of the race.

OUR GIRL TAMIYA – Jumped away awkwardly contacting the barrier partition nearly dislodging the jockey. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer C. Prow was advised a warning would be placed on the record of the mare regarding her barrier manners.

CHEEKY CHOPS – Slow to begin and could not maintain contact with the main group of horses in the early stages of the race.

Race 4: GALILEE BASIN HAULAGE & PLANT HIRE BM 45 HANDICAP - 1400 metres

HOGES – Contacted at the start and hung out rounding the home turn.

PURPLE TRUMPET – Jumped outwards contacting HOGES.

NICCONI PASQUALE – Travelled wide for much of the race.

HOT CHOCOLATE – Underwent a veterinary inspection prior to racing due to having raced at Barcaldine on 31.10.2020. Slow to begin then travelled wide with cover for much of the race.

Race 5: SIMSTOCK & BALLARD BM 65 HANDICAP - 1400 metres

SIZZLESUN was declared a late scratching due to no rider available.

ARGENTO PERLO – Slow to begin and travelled wide for much of the race. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no major abnormalities.

VAN WINKLE – Jumped inwards and travelled wide in the early stages. Help up for clear running at the top of the home straight then angled outwards to obtain clear running near the 250m. Laid in over the concluding stages.
