Exciting Heights ¨C Late withdrawal at 1.10pm after dislodging Jockey K Rockett on leaving the parade yard and galloping a considerable distance before being apprehended. Jockey Rockett, who sustained an injury to the left ankle in the incident, was transported to Atherton Hospital for further observation and will require a medical clearance prior to his next race ride. Prior to the declaration of Correct Weight Stewards ordered that all monies wagered on the gelding be refunded in full and further that all successful wagers placed on the event be subject to deductions of 13 cents in the dollar win and 12 cents in the dollar place on the face value of the betting ticket. Trainer Mr F Wieland was advised a warning woud be placed on the gelding¡¯s pre-race manners.
October Storm ¨C Dislodged App. A Thomson, who was unharmed, behind the barriers. Was examined by the Veterinarian and cleared to start. Ran off rounding the home turn. Trainer Ms L Donovan was advised the gelding would be required to trial satisfactorily prior to again being permitted to start in a race.

Flying Dubai -Began awkwardly inconveniencing another runner.

Whinging Wife ¨C Was inclined to shift ground when placed under pressure over the concluding stages.
Purple Grey ¨C Jockey P Romeo reported the filly resented the kickback in the early and middle stages.

Green Anchor ¨C Was inclined to lay out soon after straightening taking another runner wider.
Our Boy Pendles ¨C Taken wider soon after straightening by another runner which was inclined to lay out. Raced wide for the majority.
Mishani Redman ¨C Following the race Trainer Mr M McLellan reported that the horse which raced ungenerously for the majority may not have been comfortable with the fitting of the tongue tie.

Kanui ¨C Began awkwardly. Raced wide for the majority.
Zoffany Rocket ¨C Jockey S Pawsey reported the gelding which was unable to muster early pace had resented the kickback in running.
Race 5 ¨C Dawsons Engineering Magic Millions/FNQ Up & Coming Stayers Benchmark 60 Handicap 1680m
Strada Grande ¨C On returning to scale Jockey G Watson made application for the mare to be declared a non-runner due to being denied a fair start. After taking evidence from Jockey Watson, Barrier Attendant Mr J Fowler and Starter Mr R Gardner and viewing available patrol footage which revealed that Mr Fowler was in the process of removing the Pre Race Ear Muffs from Strada Grande when the start was effected, it was established that the incident had occurred due to a miscommunication. Susequently, Stewards acting under the provisions of AR204 declared Strada Grande a non-runner and ordered that all monies wagered on the mare be refunded in full and further that deductions of 9 cents in the dollar win and 10 cents in the dollar place on the face value of all successful betting tickets be applicable.
Ramsden Street ¨C Shifted out abruptly near the 1500m taking other runners wider.Raced ungenerously in the middle stages when placed in restricted room.
Rooster Hunter ¨C Taken wider near the 1500m by another runner which shifted out abruptly. Shifted in near the 200m inconveniencing a tiring runner. Jockey S Wilson was reprimanded for careless riding under the provisions of AR131(a).
Naughty Corner ¨C Was tiring when inconvenienced near the 200m by another runner which shifted in.
Stella Effort - Taken wider near the 1500m by another runner which shifted out abruptly.
The Fox Effect - Taken wider near the 1500m by another runner which shifted out abruptly.
