RACE 1: CNW THE LEADING INDEPENDANT BENCHMARK 60 H’CAP – 1450M
 
COOEE MARCH – Delayed the start when proved difficult to load. Began awkwardly. Trainer R. Green, was advised a warning would be placed on the gelding’s barrier manners.
 
VIDEO SHOW – Slow to begin. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
FRENCH SONG – Began awkwardly. Raced wide for the majority of the race. Finished tailed off. Connections were advised that a warning would be placed on the mare’s competitiveness.     
 
ADMIRAL RUFF – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
Following this race rider K. Ballard (SLIPPERY SAGA) became indisposed and was stood down from his remaining engagements. Replacements were made as per Stewards summary. Mr Ballard was advised he must provide a medical clearance prior to his next race ride.

RACE 2: CNW WORKING WITH THE MOUNT ISA MAIDEN PLATE – 1200M
 
EXPERIENCED – Blundered badly on jumping losing considerable ground causing rider to lose both irons and take no competitive part in the race.
 
LEAPIN’ LUCY – Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
 
PIMP MY RIDE – Slow to begin.
 
RACE 3: CNW BILL BRADEN MEMORIAL CLASS B H’CAP – 1200M
 
SHEMAGICSMY WORLD – Slow to begin.
 
OAKFIELD SUNSET – Blundered badly on jumping and lost considerable ground.
 
RACE 4: CNW ELECTRICAL WHOLESALE MT ISA OPEN PLATE – 1000M
 
BEAUDRAGON – Blundered on jumping. Rider R. McMahon reported on returning to scale that in his opinion the gelding was not comfortable on today’s track conditions.
 
GOOD JOB BRO – Slow to begin.
 
DEVIL’S FIRE – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
RACE 5: CNW THE PROUD AUSSIE QTIS CLASS 2 H’CAP – 1000M
 
SATAN DA – As A. Spradua was not riding at today’s meeting he was replaced by R. McMahon. A. Spradua, was fined the sum of $100 in that he failed to fulfil his engagement.   
 
NOTHIN’ ZAPPENIN’ – Slow to begin.
 
HUNTING – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
