Race 1 – CAVA HYDRAULICS BENCHMARK 50 Handicap 1450m
 
MY CRIMSON LAD – Slowly away.   
 
LE DRAMA – Bumped with another runner on jumping.
 
ALBERT THE ROCKET - Bumped with another runner on jumping. 
 
KING SOLOMON – Raced wide in the early and middle stages. 
 
FLYING IGGY – Post-race veterinary examination revealed a poor recovery.  Trainer advised he believed the gelding may be better suited at distances shorter than that of today’s race.
 
Race 2 – STEEJO PRESS BENCHMARK 50 Handicap 900m
 
GREY FACTOR – Stood flat-footed at the start losing considerable ground. Raced wide throughout.  Trainer advised a warning would be placed on the filly’s barrier behaviour.
 
HUNTING – Fractious in barriers and slowly away.  Rider reported as result he was unable to  take up the usual customary  prominent position in the field. 
 
WILL SHE APPEAL  - Shifted out on jumping racing tight with another runner for a short distance. 
 
EXOTERICAL – Raced tight with another runner soon after jumping. Raced wide in the early stages.
 
BORN TO FIRE – Had to ease off heels rounding the 600m turn. 
 
READY ZAIM FIRE – Shifted inwards near the 600m when crossing to the lead.  Rider was advised to exercise more care in future when shifting ground.   
 
BOOTIFULBLUE –Slow to begin. Rider advised as result mare resented the kickback in running.
 
DAWSON ENGINEERING QTIS  BENCHMARK 55 Handicap 1100m
 
FLYING SONG – Having first start after a prolonged absence from racing. Examined by Veterinary Surgeon pre-race and passed fit to start. 
 
ECHELON ROSE – Shifted out on jumping making contact with DEVIL’S FIRE who was then buffeted between ECHELON ROSE  and BELIEVE IT OR NOT. Shifted out and had to be eased off the heels of ENTERPRISE ROSE which was also taken wider at that point. Rider reported the mare resented the kickback in running.  
 
ENTERPRISE ROSIE - Steadied off heels soon after jumping.
 
BELIEVE IT OR NOT – Slow to begin and made heavy contact with the hind quarters of another runner which had shifted in on jumping. Then raced wide all the way.
 
LEICA CELEBRE -  Contacted heavily on hind quarters as the result of shifting inwards on jumping.  
 
SCRIPTS – Taken outwards by another runner on jumping.
 
BRAVE JEWEL - Jumped outwards at the start hampering runners to its outside. 
 
DEVIL’S FIRE – Having first start after a prolonged absence from racing. Rider reported the gelding was reluctant to stretch out. Post-race veterinary examination revealed no irregularities.
 
DREAMWARD BOUND - Raced wide in the early stages. 
 
SINAMORE - Raced wide throughout.
 
FLYING MAGIC – Commenced to over race when tightened for room soon after the start.
 
Race 4 – MOUNT ISA MINING SUPPLIES MAIDEN PLATE 1200m
 
VIAHEL - Slow to begin and unable to muster pace in early stages. 
 
PRINCIPLE – Raced wide in the early stages. 
 
DAWN ASSAULT – Raced wide in the early stages. 
 
UMNIMAGINEABLE – Raced wide rounding the home turn.
 
BOUNDARY RYDER – Finished at rear of field.  Post-race veterinary examination failed to   reveal any abnormalities.            
 
 
Race 5 – TREVOR MORRIS BUILDERS COPPERMART OPEN QUALITY HANDICAP
1200m
 
GOOD JOB BRO – Slowly away. Raced wide for the majority. Rider R. McMahon reprimanded for excessive whip use under AR 132(7)(a)(ii), 7 strikes prior to 100 metres .
 
Race 6 – THE ISA AND RED EARTH HOTELS MOUNT ISA CUP OPEN QUALITY Handicap 1700m
 
RECALCULATE – Threw head in air at start. Raced wide in the middle stages.  Rider T. Gillett reprimanded for excessive whip use under AR 132(7)(a)(ii), 7 strikes prior to 100 metres. 
 
UNDER THE WEATHER – Shortly after the start threw head in the air and shifted outwards forcing other runners wider.
 
FIRE RANGER - Forced wide soon after the start.
 
ROYAL SCRIPT – Had to be steadied off heels as result of other runners shifting ground soon after the start.
 
TWO OF A KIND – Raced wide rounding the 1400m turn.
 
EDEN ROAD - Raced wide rounding the 1400m turn. 
 
BLOSSOM - Finished tailed off.
