Race 1: CAVA BENCHMARK 65 HANDICAP 1450m
MASKING- Raced wide middle stages.
MAKING SHADOWS- Slow to begin.
MANDALONG PASS- A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have bled from both nostrils. As this was the second such occurrence Trainer J. Bawden was advised the gelding is now ineligible to start in any race in Australia under the provisions AR79 (6).
HICKSON- A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be sore in the off-front leg. Trainer Ms T Parry was advised a veterinary certificate of clearance would be required prior to next start. Ms Parry advised that the gelding would now be spelled.
Race 2: STEEJO PRESS BENCHMARK 45 HANDICAP 900m
ANNIE LAUGHALOT-Fractious in the barriers slow to begin
TUNING- Rider J Esser was reprimanded under the provisions of AR132(5) in that he did use his whip in an excessive manner (16times) throughout the event. Raced wide majority

ALOTAFOX- Slow to begin. Improved onto heels approaching the 600m
