Race 1: BURNETT LIVESTOCK & REALTY QTIS Maiden Plate 1000m
 
THE ORANGE MUPPET – Raced 3 wide for the entire event, laid in under pressure over the final stages.
 
TOY WHITTY – Raced 4 wide for the entire event.
 
CAUGHT IN A DREAM – Slow to begin, laid in over the final 150m.
 
MOA’S GIRL – Raced 4 wide with cover for the entire.
 
MISS PIXIE – Tightened on jumping, Rider R. Wilson reported the filly resented the kickback and firm track conditions.
 
RAINING RICHES – Passing the 300m was momentarily steadied when FAV’S FLYER shifted in, Apprentice A. Jones rider of FAV’S FLYER was advised to exercise greater care when shifting ground in similar circumstances.
 
 
 
 
 
Race 2: RUM CITY FOODS Class B Handicap 1000m
 
PERFECT SAGA – Bounded at the start and lost ground.
 
AXIS – Began awkwardly, Trainer K Afford was advised a warning would be placed against the gelding for being difficult to load.
 
BITTERGREYMAGIC – Shifted out abruptly on jumping away making contact with LOVE YA BLUE, raced 3 wide from passing the 400m.
 
LOVE YA BLUE – Raced 4 wide from passing the 400m.
 
 
 
 
 
Race 3: BURNETT TO THE VALLEY RATINGS BAND 0 – 60 Handicap 1200m
 
PATCHE GIFT – Slow to begin, from the 400m shifted wider on the track to improve and raced wide from that point. Laid in over the final 100m.
 
BLAINE – Raced 3 wide for the entire event.
 
SALT’Y BOY – Raced 4 wide for the entire event.
 
TURBO TEDDY –  When questioned as to the below market expectation performance Jockey H Phillips advised her instructions were to lead, after being marginally slow to begin she had to pressure her mount in the early stages to settle outside the leader. Jockey Phillips further added the gelding travelled well until a point near the 300m however from this point commenced to yield ground and proved disappointing. Stewards noted explanation

TYCOON ZIP – Overraced in the early stages.

TONTEIN – Stood flat footed and lost ground.
 
ELUSIVE ELEMENT – Raced wide throughout, rider S. Stephan reported the gelding didn’t appreciate today’s firm track conditions.
