GENERAL
Stewards intend to interview Jockey D. Edmonds at a later date in relation to his non-attendance at this race meeting.
 
Race 1 - COLEMANS STOCKFEED/HOLLIMANS HARDWARE BENCHMARK 55 HANDICAP 800m  
 
OVER THE CHOICE – Raced wide all the way.
 
BLAZON TALES - Jumped awkwardly.
 
SERIOUSLY HAPPY - Slowly away.
 
BORN T O FIRE – Raced wide rounding the 600m turn.
 
WILL SHE APPEAL – Raced wide rounding the 600m turn. 
 
HUNTING – Near the 400m shifted outwards inconveniencing another runner.  Rider N. Nelson was advised to exercise more care.
 
ABBA ORIGINAL – Near the 400m was inconvenience by another runner which shifted outwards. 
 
Race 2 - BULLOCKS BUTCHER SHOPPE QTIS MAIDEN PLATE 1000m
 
FRIGHTENING DELAGO – Late scratching at 12.30pm as no rider was available.
 
STARKIN – Slowly into stride.
 
STRADIFY – Rider N. Nelson reported the horse had raced ungenerously throughout and had resented the kickback in running.   
 
Race 3 – KITCHEN & JOINERY BY PAUL MIFSUD/BROWN BROTHERS CLASS B HANDICAP 1000m
 
DORIS STAR – Late scratching at 2.05pm as no rider was available.
 
OPPENHEIMER – Slowly away.
 
FLYING DUBAI – Jumped awkwardly and outwards onto another runner. Raced wide rounding the 600m turn. 
 
ZIZANGGA ZOU- Bumped heavily by another runner on jumping.  Raced wide rounding the home turn. 
 
HEREBANEEK – Slowly away.  Rider advised the gelding which trailed the field for the majority and made the home turn very awkwardly, did not handle the track conditions. 
 
SPEEWAH LASS – Raced wide in early stages and finished tailed off.  Rider D. Sparks advised the mare did not handle the dusty track conditions. 
 
DUTCH TWIST – Raced very wide rounding the home turn. 
 
Race 4 - TITLEY'S BENCHMARK 65 HANDICAP 1200m
 
OUR RECIPE - Jumped awkwardly. Rider B. Thomson was fined the sum of $100.00 under the provisions of AR 137A for excessive whip use prior to the 100m.
 
UMGENI - Raced wide most of the way.
 
DON’T TELL PETE – Rider S. Sheargold advised in his opinion the gelding which raced wide for the majority had been disappointing and had failed to respond to his urgings after being tightened for racing room near the 650 metres. 
 
ULTRA RED – Slowly into stride.  Rider P. Cullen advised in his opinion the gelding had failed to handle the track conditions.
 
Race 5 - HAMMER & CO PENTLAND CUP CLASS 4 HANDICAP 1600m
 
MARTRIAL ART – Began awkwardly. Raced wide rounding the home turn. 
 
BALLERDEE BOB - Slowly into stride. 
 
TRY BEFORE DUBAI - Raced wide most of the way. 
 
SYDNEY HARBOUR - Raced wide rounding the home turn. 
 
DUAL PERSONALITY - Raced wide rounding the home turn.
