Race 1: BREAKFAST EVERY SUNDAY AT CALLAGHAN PARK QTIS Two-Year-Old Maiden Hand 1100 metres
 
Correct weight was delayed to allow Jockey B Appo and Trainer T Button to view the vision of the start to ascertain if LOCKDOWN LADY was afforded a fair start. After viewing the available footage, both Jockey and Trainer declined to lodge an objection and correct weight was declared.
 
ORBITAL SPEED – severely hampered on jumping away. When questioned in relation to the performance of the gelding, Jockey A Butler stated that after he received interference on jumping ORBITAL SPEED failed to stride out at any stage of the event. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.
 
ALIKICK – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination revealing a superficial laceration top the near hind leg and was passed fit to start.
 
ELECTRIC SPIRIT – Hampered on jumping away. Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
JACK'S ECHO – hampered on jumping away. Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
DAUNTING PRINCESS – Hung out rounding the home turn. Overraced throughout the event
 
LOCKDOWN LADY – Jumped away awkwardly and shifted in abruptly. Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
BIG GIFT – Laid out in the early stages. Momentarily inconvenienced on entering the home straight.
 
 
Race 2: REMEMBERING PHIL STORY OPEN Handicap 1050 metres
 
RAIDEN – When questioned regarding the performance of the Gelding, Jockey A Butler stated in his opinion RAIDEN may not have appreciated the firm surface. He added that Raiden failed to travel throughout the event. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. Trainer J Manzelmann stated that he was confident in the chances of the gelding leading into todays event. He added he would report back on the condition of RAIDEN in the subsequent days.
 
SPRING CREEK – Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
JACK LANCASTER – Stewards permitted the late rider change of C Eaton on the gelding. Rider C Eaton was reprimanded under AR132(7)(a)(ii) for using her whip on seven occasions prior to the 100m, two more than permitted.
 
Following the running of Race 2, the track was upgraded to a Good 4 at 1pm.
 
 
Race 3: ST PATRICK'S CLUB RACEDAY - SATURDAY 13 MARCH BENCHMARK 65 Handicap 1200 metres
 
CZECHOSLOVAKIA – Jumped away awkwardly.
 
HELLUVA HOFFA – Jumped away awkwardly.
 
JUST JESSIE- Hampered on jumping away. Raced in restricted room passing the 300m and approaching the winning post became awkwardly placed on heels and was unable to be fully tested to the line.
 
NAILED IT NAN – Slipped on jumping away and as a result was slow into stride. Overraced in the early and middle stages.  Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
ORNATE – Jumped away awkwardly. Overraced in the early and middle stages. Held up for clear running passing the 300m and approaching the 200m raced in restricted room for a number of strides between NAILED IT NAN who laid in and JUST JESSIE who was attempting to shift out to improve. Was able to shift out approaching the 200m around the heels of NAILED IT NAN to improve into clear running.
 
 
Race 4: BOOK YOUR EVENT AT CALLAGHAN PARK Maiden Plate 1400 metres
 
CIDER APPLE- Slow to begin.
 
ESPEREUS – Laid in in the early stages.
 
MISHANI PATRIOT – Late scratching at 8.13am due to no available rider.
 
CHAMPAGNE AT DAWN – Slow to begin. Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
THINK I'M A LADY – Passing the 900m had to be restrained to avoid the heels of ESPEREUS which shifted in for a stride. Jockey J Stephens, rider of ESPERUS, was reminded of his obligations to stop and straighten his mounts when they shift ground in future.
 
BOLD ADVANCE – Slow to begin.
 
MOTHERLODE – Raced wide throughout the event. Overraced in the early and middle stages.
 
 
Race 5: PIMM'S PARTY ON ST PATTY'S DAY QTIS JEWEL QUALIFIER 3-Y-O Plate 1100 metres
 
ROLLINWITHTHEFLOW – Overraced in the early and middle stages.
 
MISS LOT WON – Slow to begin.
 
ALEYSA'S DREAM – Rider R Wiggins was fined $500 under AR132(7)(a)(ii) for using his whip on six occasions prior to the 100m, one more than permitted.
 
SIP IT SLOW – Slow to begin.
 
 
Race 6: LUCK OF THE IRISH LUNCHEON BENCHMARK 60 Handicap 1600 metres
 
TYCOON FLYER – Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
FIGHTING FAITH – Overraced in the early and middle stages.
 
SKYQUAKE – Stewards gave permission for the mare to race without earmuffs and to use earmuffs pre race only due to a clerical error. Overraced in the early and middle stages.
 
IRISH RING KICKER – Overraced in the early and middle stages.
