RACE 1: SM AND KA DUFF BUILDERS/BRETT POLLOCK CONSTRUCTIONS/MURRAY BUILDERS MAIDEN PLATE 1000M-
 
No racing incidents.
 
RACE 2: WEST TECH/GJ GARDNER HOMES CLASS 3 PLATE 1000M-
 
WRITTEN GUARANTEE- Connections advised the gelding resents be struck with the whip, and therefore Jockey S Sweedman will be instructed to use minimal whip.
 
DAISY PEARL- Tightened for room on jumping away.
 
RACE 3: QUEENSAND COUNTRY MEATS/TAYLORS PARTS BENCHMARK 55 H’CAP 1200M
 
MOJOS- Made the home turn wide.
 
NO TAN TAT- Checked when tightened for room near the 1000m.
 
SHAKE HER BON BON- Raced wide throughout.
 
AQUABILL- Began awkwardly.
 
THE CONSIGLIERE- Raced wide throughout.
 
IMMUTABLE- Checked near the 1000m when AKLAVIK shifted in despite the efforts of this rider.
 
RACE 4: ROMA HOME HARDWARE OPEN PLATE 1200M
On Friday 12/7/19 Stewards identified that due to a clerical error a number of runners in this race had been incorrectly weighted. The necessary adjustments to the weights were undertaken and these changes were communicated to participants and on course patrons.
 
MOHAKA RIVER- Slow to muster early speed.
 
REVERSE LOGIC- Raced wide throughout.
 
RACE 5: COMMONWEALTH HOTEL BENCHMARK 60 H’CAP 1640M
 
SHADOW PRINCE- Tightened for room near the 500m. Tightened for room and checked near the 300m. At a subsequent inquiry Jockey C Rogers (ROBYNLUCY) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under the terms of AR131(a) for failing to make sufficient effort to prevent her mount from shifting in at that point resulting in SHADOW PRINCE and NERO D’AVOLA both being tightened for room and checked. Jockey Rogers license to ride in races was suspended for a period of 8 days commencing midnight 20.7.19 and to expire at midnight 28.7.19.
 
NERO D’AVOLA- Tightened for room at the 500m and again near the 300m and was checked.
