Race 1: TAB Ratings Band 0-60 Hcap – 2200m
 
EXCELEBRATION GOLD – Jumped away awkwardly.
 
CORSINI – Slow to begin.
 
EDEN ROAD – Jockey D. Smith could offer no explanation for the disappointing performance. A post race veterinary examination of the horse, which weakened approaching the 600m and finished last, failed to reveal any significant abnormalities.  Trainer G. Laming indicated in light of today’s performance the horse would be retired from his stable.
 
Following this race the track rating was upgraded to Soft 6.
 
 
Race 2: Hot 91.1 Ladies Oaks Day 31.5.19  – 1000m
 
MR MARKOU – Slow to begin.  Obliged to race in restricted room after passing the 700m and became unbalanced.
 
TAN TAT DIAMOND – Slow to begin.  Jockey M. Hellyer reported his mount laid out under pressure in the straight.
 
 
 
Race 3:  Slade Bloodstock Pty Ltd Class 2 Plate – 1400m
 
TECHNO SAVVY – Jumped away awkwardly and shifted in, making contact with OCEAN ADDICT. When asked to comment on the performance, jockey M. Palmer indicated after travelling well throughout and obtaining clear running in the early stage of the home straight, he was disappointed with the horse’s finishing effort as the gelding failed to respond when placed under pressure.
 
ROSSMAY – Began awkwardly and shifted out, making contact with GREAT POWERS.  Obliged to steady from heels near the 300m when having difficulty obtaining clear running.
 
CYCLONE PATH – Jumped away awkwardly.
 
STANDING OVATION – Which was caught wide after the start was obliged to race wide for the majority of the race.
 
RAISE AN ARMY – Laid out slightly under pressure in the home straight.
 
SMOOTH CELEBRATION – A post race veterinary examination reveal  the mare to be lame in the off foreleg. Connections were advised that veterinary clearance must be supplied prior to its next race start.
 
 
Race 4: John Burgess Electrical Maiden  Hcap  – 1200m
 
REAL MACHINE – Jumped away awkwardly. Raced wide without cover.
 
ME MUM’S FOXY – Which was a little  slow to begin, was hampered shortly after the start between runners.
 
DIAMOND JESS – Blundered  shifted out at the start. Overraced badly in the early stages and was checked from heels near the 800m.
 
EPIC BEL – Slow to begin. Laid in under pressure over the concluding stages.
 
FILLYSOPHYCAL – Brushed on jumping away. Tightened for room near the 700m and had to be steadied.
 
SUCCEEDANDCONQUER – Brushed on jumping away.
 
TRUTHIZ – Jumped away awkwardly and lost ground.
 
 WILCARUISE – Overraced in the early and middle stages.  Tightened for room near the 700m and had to be steadied. Lost its off hind plate in running. 
 
THERENBACK – Bumped by another runner over the concluding stages.
 
OCTIC – Raced wide without cover.
 
BENETEAU BUOY – Raced wide.
 
PURR ITTY KITTY – Jockey J. Orman advised stewards he was disappointed in the horse’s finishing effort after travelling well in a favourable position throughout. A  post race veterinary examination revealed the horse to be suffering from cardiac arrhythmia.  Connections were  advised that a veterinary clearance and ECG  must be supplied and the horse must perform satisfactorily in an official trial prior to its next race start.
 
 
Race 5: Cellar Maintenance Australia Sacred Elixir QTIC 2yo Hcap – 1400m
 
JOMERA – Slow to begin. Had difficulty securing clear running after passing the 300m and obliged to steady when disappointed for a run near the 200m.
 
OCTAVIAN – Slow to begin.
 
WISHFILLY – Jumped away awkwardly.
 
DJEBEL READY – Jumped away awkwardly and made heavy contact with the barrier partition.
 
ERIC THE EEL – Jumped away awkwardly and lost ground.
 
RED SATIN – Inconvenienced and steadied on jumping away. Raced 3 wide without cover throughout.
 
KALIK – Overraced in the early stages whilst racing greenly.
 
GREAT BRAVE – Raced in restricted room passing the 800m. 
 
MAGIC BEANS – Bumped on a number of occasions passing the 600m and was forced wider.
 
SOUTHERN SWING – Lost its near fore plate in running.
 
 
Race 6: Double R Thoroughbreds Class 1 Hcap  – 1000m
 
FLAME OF LIBERTY – Slow to begin.
 
FANTASAY  – Slow to begin.
 
ORIENTAL RULER – Slow to begin.
 
ROGUE DRUMMER – Jumped away awkwardly.  Tightened for room and had to be steadied near the 300m. Jockey R. Wiggins, rider of MOUNTBATTEN, was reprimanded for this incident.
 
MOUNTBATTEN – Jumped away awkwardly.
 
 
Race 7:  Paddi Sheehan’s Last Run Ratings Band 0-60 Hcap  – 1200m
 
BRILEE ROSE – Change of tactics. Connections advised the horse would settle in a midfield position. After being caught wide in the early stages was ridden forward to a position outside the lead.  A post race veterinary examination of the horse, which weakened badly in the home straight after being bumped by another runner near the 400m  failed to reveal any significant abnormalities. Trainer K. Schweida indicated to stewards in light of today’s performance he would discuss the horse’s immediate future with the owners.
 
DOMINANT WITNESS – Slow to begin.
 
DRUMS JEWEL – Jumped inwards at the start and made contact with another runner.
 
SUGAR BUZZ – Bumped at the start.
 
EARLSTOUN RULER – Jumped away awkwardly.
 
PHAST LAD – Raced 4 wide without cover throughout.
 
TAMARIN – Apprentice J. Murphy reported his mount overraced in the early  and middle stages and as a result shifted wider near the 700m to avoid heels and remained 3 wide from that point onwards.
 
POSITIVE SPIN - Obliged to shift out rounding the home turn to avoid heels and laid out under pressure over the concluding stages.
