Race 1:  Ackerman Racing Maiden Plate – 1400m
 
SILVERBROOK  LAD – Slow to begin.  Held up rounding the home turn.
 
DANETIST – Blundered on jumping away.  Shifted wider passing the 800m to improve and was forced wider again near the 600m and made the home turn wide.
 
NOM DE THEATRE – Slow to begin. Laid In under pressure in the home straight.
 
PRINCESS RACER - Overraced in the early stages before being permitted to stride forward.
 
ROZERIA – Raced awkwardly whilst being restrained to obtain cover near the 1100m and then overraced at heels until approaching the 800m. Held up rounding the home turn. Was then obliged to check from the heels of the weakening PRINCESS RACER near the 450m.
 
CYCLONE MIA – Overraced badly at heels in the early stages before being shifted wider near the 1100m and permitted to stride forward to the lead.
 
LADY JEUNE – Raced 3 wide without cover. Stewards inquired into an incident which occurred near the 150m, which resulted in LADY JEUNE having to be checked. Stewards established that LADY JEUNE was obliged to check when placed in restricted room between KNIGHT MARINER and FIREBOX, which shifted in and away from NOM DE THEATRE despite the efforts of its rider.  Stewards also found that whilst NOM DE THEATRE was inclined to lay in, they were not satisfied that jockey J. Orman, rider of NOM DE THEATRE had dictated the line of FIREBOX and therefore took no further action.
Race 2:  Caloundra Produce & Landscape Supplies Benchmark 62 H’cap –
1400m
 
LITTLE JOHN – Declared a late scratching at 2.40 pm on veterinary advice.
 
KEEP ON ROCKING – Slow to begin.
 
MIGHTY QUINN – Approaching the 900m was steadied when placed in restricted room by ROYAL WARFARE, which shifted in.   Apprentice M. Savva, rider of ROYAL WARFARE, was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances.  
 
ROYAL WARFARE – Was inconvenienced and forced wider after passing the 400m.
 
NO DOUBT ACRACKER – Was inconvenienced, became unbalanced and forced wider after passing the 400m.
 
IPSO NEM FELEK – Was heavily bumped by another runner and was forced wider before becoming unbalanced as a result,  after passing the 400m. Jockey D. Smith, rider of  HOT SOCK, was severely reprimanded for his actions in shifting out after improving onto the heels of BIG BUDS.
 
HOT SOCK – Improved onto heels near the 400m and shifted out to secure clear running and in doing so made heavy contact with another runner.
 
MISTA BUSY – Obliged to race in restricted room near the 100m and was steadied as a result of ROYAL WARFARE, which shifted in.  Apprentice M. Savva, rider of ROYAL WARFARE, was reprimanded for this incident.
 
BIG BUDS – A post race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the off hindleg. Connections were advised that a veterinary clearance must be supplied prior to its next race start.
 
COONOWRIN RUBY -  Raced wide without cover.
 
 
Race 3:  The Render Centre Class 2 H’cap – 1200m
 
TECHNO SAVVY – Jumped away very awkwardly,  made contact with the barrier partition and lost ground.
 
BOOMISTA – Tightened for room shortly after the start, heavily bumped by another runner and had to be checked.
 
V J DAY – Bumped by another runner on jumping away and shifted in abruptly.  Improved on to  heels  when the pace slackened near the 800m, was obliged to steady and shifted out. As a result raced 3 wide without cover from that point onwards.
 
FIRST DAWN – Bumped by another runner on jumping and lost ground.
 
MISS DEFIANCE – Shifted in shortly after the start, inconveniencing another runner.
 
KENTFORD – Overraced badly in the early stages when the pace slackened.
 
LICKETY LACHIE – Was held up for clear running rounding the home turn and continued to have difficulty securing clear running until the 250m.
 
 
Race 4:  James Ackerman Memorial Benchmark 80 H’cap  - 1300m
 
SCHUBERT – Forced wider near the 1000m and raced 3 wide from that point onwards.
 
CORAL BAY – Forced wider near the 1000m and raced wide throughout.
 
 
Race 5:  Melbourne Storm Class 4 Plate – 1600m
 
ELMO’S FIRE – Slow to begin.
 
BERING SEA – Slow to begin.
 
MALCRIADO – Overraced whilst leading. Became unbalanced approaching the 800m and again near the 500m.
 
 
Race 6:  Caloundra Automotive QTIS 3yo H’cap – 1000m
 
TOP SOCIETY – Jumped away awkwardly and lost ground.
 
TISANI ROSE –  Jumped away awkwardly and made heavy contact with the barrier partition. Laid in throughout the event.  A post race veterinary examination of the filly  was performed after jockey L. Tarrant reported his mount felt awkward in its action  revealed no abnormalities.  Trainer K. Kemp undertook to report to stewards anything that comes to light with the filly that may have had a bearing on its performance.
 
COMBAT KID – Commenced to lay in from the 600m and raced awkwardly until entering the home straight. Laid in under pressure in the home straight.  Jockey J. Orman reported that  his mount was doing its best work over the concluding stage and recommended to connections to step the horse up over more ground.
 
 
Race 7:  Strathbrook Regional Services Maiden H’cap  - 1000m
 
TWOKATS – After being fractious in the barriers jumped away awkwardly and lost ground. Laid out under pressure in the home straight.
 
ELITE GREY – Jumped away very awkwardly and lost ground. Near the 900m had to be checked to avoid heels and lost ground.
 
JACKMAN LANE – Jumped away awkwardly and made heavy contact with the barrier partition. Placed in restricted room near the 200m and was steadied.
 
GLAM ROCK –  Jumped away awkwardly.   Raced wide without cover.
 
CASCUS – Raced wide. Jockey H. Phillips, rider of GLAM ROCK, pleaded guilty to a charge of  careless riding in that she allowed her mount to shift in near the 900m when not sufficiently clear of  CASCUS, which resulted in jockey G. Geran having to take hold of that mare to avoid the heels of GLAM ROCK and shifted out, which in turn caused ELITE GREY to be checked to avoid the heels of CASCUS.   Jockey Phillips, was suspended from riding in races for a period of 8 days, to commence at midnight 17 November, and to expire at midnight, 25 November.
