GENERAL
 
The following riders were replaced for illness or injury.
Race’s 1 and 4 – Adin Thompson replaced by M Savva.

Race 1: 1 HAYMANS ELECTRICAL NAMBOUR Maiden Plate 1800 metres
 
Blonde 'N' Ready – Raced three wide early and middle stages. Commenced to weaken from the 800m and finished a distant last. Post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Trainer T Miller was advised that the gelding would be required to trial to the satisfaction of stewards prior to resuming. Mr Miller also indicated that he would discuss with owners the immediate racing future of the gelding.
 
Platinum Deal –Trainer M Boland was reprimanded for arriving  on course outside the prescribed times. Obliged to alter course passing the 400m in order to secure clear running.
 
Endless Sizzle – Raced very keenly in the early stages.
 
Gomathi – Slow into stride.
 
 
 
 
Race 2: HAYMANS ELECTRICAL NOOSA QTIS Three-Year-Old Handicap 1000 metres
 
The Diamond – Bumped on jumping and became unbalanced. When asked to comment regarding the geldings performance Jockey B Nothdurft explained that after travelling well it failed to respond to his riding in the straight and proved disappointing.
 
Keeta – Reared as the start was effected and was then inconvenienced by DAINTREE DIVA which shifted out abruptly. Raced greenly early and steadied from heels near the 600m.
 
Daintree Diva – Began very awkwardly and shifted out.
 
Home Of Goolagong – Buffeted between runners on jumping, lost ground, contacted the heels of KEETA shortly after the start, blundered before settling in a rearward position.
 
Race 3: HAYMANS ELECTRICAL WARANA Class 5 Plate 1000 metres
 
Bring It Home Pop – Began awkwardly.
 
Let's Cheer Again – Overraced early and middle stages.
 
Plenty – Restrained at the start to obtain a trailing position. Improved onto heels near the 100m, obliged to alter course and unable to be tested for the remainder. Jockey J Bayliss reported he elected to shift back to the inside near the 100m as BOBLEE had commenced to shift out under pressure as he felt this was the best option to secure clear running. He added however that in hindsight he would have been better served easing wider.
 
Boblee – Bumped on jumping.
 
 
Race 4: HAYMANS ELECTRICAL CALOUNDRA QTIS Two-Year-Old Handicap 1000 metres
 
Mishani Scandal – Jockey J Orman reported his mount hung out in the home straight.

Ezekeil – Held up rounding home turn.
 
Saturday Sinner – Slow to begin. Held up from the 600m until entering the home straight.
 
Atta Gal – Shifted in near the 700m before being corrected by its rider. Raced very wide with no cover. Weakened over the concluding stages, underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no apparent abnormalities.  Apprentice M Savva pleaded guilty to AR132 (7)(a)(ii) in that she used her whip on seven occasions prior to the 100m, two more than permitted and was fined $400.
 
 
 
Gypsy Isle –  Bumped on jumping. Raced greenly when placed in restricted room near the 700m and lost ground as a result. Raced wide.
 
Mishani Untamed – Began awkwardly. Trainer L Ross advised that he was disappointed with the filly’s performance and  it was his likely intention to send the horse for a spell.
 
Rhapsody Rose –  Tightened for racing room near the 700m and bumped heavily with Collay’s Spirit. Raced wide no cover. Bumped near 550m and carried wider.
 
Vienna Empress – Jockey D Smith reported the his mount raced greenly and inclined to hang out in the home straight.
 
Collay’s Spirit. – Bumped heavily near the 700m and became unbalanced.
 
Race 5: HAYMANS ELECTRICAL MAROOCHYDORE RATINGS BAND 0 - 65 Handicap 1300 metres
 
Valadyium – Caught wide early, over raced near the 1000m when restraining for cover.
 
Miss Daiquiri – Bumped on jumping. Jockey M Du Plessis stated that it was not his intention to lead, however when no early pressure was applied he elected to remain in that position.
 
Devillain – Began awkwardly, overraced middle stages and steadied from heels near 650m. Disappointed for a run approaching the finish and steadied.
 
Race 6: MM ELECTRICAL COOLUM Maiden Plate 1200 metres
 
Mended – Slow into stride.
 
Dame Margot – Steadied from heels near the 400m and altered course.
 
Rhuezon – Tightened for racing room near the 800m.
 
One More Field – Tired over the concluding stages and performed below market expectations. Post-race veterinary examination identified the horse to be exhibiting signs of respiratory distress. Trainer S O’Dea was advised that a veterinary clearance would be required including the results of an endoscopic examination. The filly would also be required to the trial to the satisfaction of stewards prior to resuming.
 
One More Pinot - Raced three wide no cover.
 
Stratobel – Stewards acceded to a request from Trainer N McCall to permit Jockey D Smith to ride 1kg overweight as per the riding policy. When overracing near the 800m was checked and shifted out and across the heels of One More Pinot, then raced three wide with cover.
 
Race 7: HAYMANS ELECTRICAL GYMPIE Maiden Plate 1200 metres
 
Louis January – Bumped heavily on jumping and lost ground.
 
Moments In Time – Bled both nostrils. Trainer S O’Dea was advised that the filly would be stood down from racing for a period of 3 months and would be required to gallop over 1000m meters in the presence of stewards prior to resuming.
 
Pure Purgatory – Attempted to buck on jumping and lost significant ground. Post race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Jockey J Bayliss reported that the mare may have resented the tongue tie. Trainer N McCall was advised that the mare would be required to trial to the satisfaction of stewards prior to resuming.
 
Danezel – Severely checked and lost ground approaching the 200m. Jockey M McGillivray, the rider of Louis January was found guilty pursuant to AR131(a) in that approaching the 200m when shifting to the inside of Weewanda to obtain clear running, tightened the running of COURT HOUSE resulting in there being insufficient room for 2 horses to race to the inside of Louis January causing COURT HOUSE to shift in and tighten the running of Danezel which was ridden by B Nothdurft and obliging him to check his mount. Jockey McGillivray’s license to ride in races was suspended for a period of 9 days, to commence midnight 27/10/20 and expire midnight 5/11/20.
 
Court House – Raced greenly and inclined to hang out throughout. Carried inwards near the 200m.
 
Kick Hi – Bumped heavily on jumping.
 
Super Trouble – Bled both nostrils. Trainer S O’Dea was advised that the filly would be stood down from racing for a period of 3 months and would be required to gallop over 1000m meters in the presence of stewards prior to resuming.
 
Race 8: HAYMANS ELECTRICAL MARYBOROUGH BENCHMARK 65 Handicap 1600 metres
 
Jinx 'n' Drinx – Overraced when leading in the middle stages.
 
Warp Speed – Slow to begin.
 
Concealed Dynamite – Over raced early.
 
Race 9: SUNSHINE COAST HAYMANS & MM COOLUM Class 1 Plate 1200 metres
 
All To Do – Hung out from passing the 700m placing its rider at a disadvantage.
 
Mishani Courage – Overraced early then raced three wide with cover.
 
Beach Club – Overraced early. Raced in restricted room near the 400m and became unbalanced.
 
Mary Jane – Raced three wide throughout.
 
Galvarino – Over raced early. Steadied from heels near the 800m. Hung in home turn.
 
Live Music – Began awkwardly and lost ground.
