Race 1: INNOVATIVE PLANNING SOLUTIONS QTIS Two-Year-Old Handicap 1000 metres

Collay's Spirit – Began awkwardly. Raced wide throughout.

Raw Gold – Apprentice Adin Thompson was reprimanded under AR 132(7)(a)(ii) for using his whip on 7 occasions prior to the 100m, which is 2 occasions above the permitted amount. Slow to begin.

Subterranean – Began awkwardly and bump SPECTACULARLY.

Le Force – Raced wide without cover. Rider reported that he had concerns with the horses action during the event. Post-race veterinary examination revealed no abrnormalities.

Avolonte – Raced wide throughout. Improved onto heels near the 200m and was steadied.

Invinsible Tears – Held up for clear running from the 600m until approaching the 400m.

Miss Piper – As Apprentice Justin Huxtable was to be overweight he was replaced by Ben Thompson. Hung out for the majority of the event, particularly when under pressure in the home straight, which placed its rider at a disadvantage. Post-race vet examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer C Munce, who advised stewards that the horse would now be sent for a spell, was advised that a warning would be placed on the fillies racing manners.

Spectacularly – Began awkwardly and bumped SUBTERRANEAN.

Winter Violet – Slow to begin.

You'll Be Mist – Trainer Darryl Hansen was fined the sum of $100 under LR67 for the late declaration of rider R Fradd.


Race 2: RICEBOI MOOLOOLABA BENCHMARK 72 Handicap 1600 metres

Star Of Michelin – Held up rounding the home turn.

Rather Salubrious – Post race veterinary examination found the mare to be lame in the off fore leg. Trainer David Reynolds was advised that a vet certificate would be required for the mare prior to racing again.

Cabochon Lil – Slow to begin. Steadied from heels near the 700m. Rider reported that the horse felt awkward in its action.

Travistee – Raced wide throughout.

Charmed Princess – Held up for clear running approaching the home turn.

Main De Foi – Slow to begin.

Pexbury Avenue – Slow to begin.


Race 3: ARCHER PARK RACING QTIS Three-Year-Old Handicap 1400 metres

Mishani Epic – Steadied from the heels of CORVO near the 900m and then raced on heels for a short distance.

Cosmic Gossip – Inclined to lay in when rounding the home turn and steadied from heels near the 450m and again near the 350m.

Dzsenifer – Laid in under pressure in the home straight.

Palladas – Slow to begin. Raced wide without cover

Better Lad – Blundered on jumping away. Held up for clear running rounding the home turn.

Nicks – Slow to begin. Steadied from heels near the 900m and shifted out, racing wide from that point onwards.

Count The Coin – Bega awkwardly. Over-raced during the early and middle stages.

Pulcheria – Steadied when placed in restricted room near the 100m.

Dune Forty Five – Raced wide throughout.

Spill Queen – Declared a late scratching at 12:02pm, when the transport company engaged to transport the horse to the races mistakenly transported the horse to the Gold Coast.


Race 4: KENDRICK RACING One Metro Win Handicap 1200 metres

Totally Charmed – Held up for clear running rounding the home turn and again between the 250m and 100m.

Sea Raider – Over-raced whilst racing wide without cover.

Molly's Rocking – Began awkwardly and lost ground. Inconvenienced over the concluding stages.

Clockwise – Dislodged rider prior to the start. Following this CLOCKWISE was examined by the vet and cleared to start. Momentarily held up for clear running near the 350m.

Metson – Held up from the 600m until near the 350m.

Flying Crackerjak – Over-raced during the early stages.

Vinco – Raced wide throughout.


Race 5: LANDMARK RESORT & SPA Class 3 Plate 1200 metres

Scathing – Apprentice J Huxtable reported that his mount travelled comfortably throughout, however when placed under pressure failed to respond. Post-race vet examination revealed the horse to be suffering from Cardiac Arrythmia. Trainer C Munce was advised that he must provide a vet certificate and ECG prior to having the gelding officially trial before racing again.

Love Express – Slow to begin. Steadied from heels after passing the 600m.

Ready To Roam – Over-raced during the early stages and raced three wide without cover.

Lady Brahmos – Steadied from heels after passing the 600m.

Veranes – Began awkwardly and lost ground.

Dee Day Diva – Over-raced near the 1000m when restrained to obtain cover.

Race 6: TRAVIS SCHULTZ & PARTNERS QTIS Three-Year-Old Handicap 1000 metres

Gotta Kiss – Slow to begin.

Hancora Field – Post race vet examination revealed the horse to have lacerations on both the near and off sides of the mouth and was also suffering from a poor recovery.

Superare – Slow to begin. Held up rounding the home turn and in the early stages of the home straight.

Goldsborough – Inclined to hang out from the 600m and shifted out and away from FLEET DOVE approaching the 400m.

One Shy Ruby – Raced wide without cover. Steadied to avoid the heels of GOLDSBOROUGH when approaching the 400m.

Bleu Zebra – Raced wide without cover.

Frisco's Image – Began awkwardly.

Sinead - Declared a late scratching at 12:02pm, when the transport company engaged to transport the horse to the races mistakenly transported the horse to the Gold Coast.



Race 7: THE WHARF MOOLOOLABA SWISS ACE Plate 1000 metres

Tambo's Mate – Held up rounding the home turn.

Mishani Hustler – Slow to begin.

Pennino – Lunged forward as the start was effected and lost ground.

River Racer – Slow to begin.

Just Orm – Held up for clear running and heavily restrained from the 350m until near the 150m.

Capital Connection – Raced wide without cover.

Bold Style – Began awkwardly and lost ground.

Kalik – Held up for clear running from the 500m until the 150m.


Race 8: SKY RACING MOOLOOLABA CUP 1600 metres

Niccanova – Raced in restricted room and unable to improve when attempting to secure clear running between the 400m and 200m.

Bergerac – Tightened for room on jumping and lost ground. Obliged to race in restricted room near the 1400m. Raced wide throughout.

Le Juge – Held up for clear running from the 400m until the 200m.

Magnufighter – Held up for clear running from the 400m onwards and went to the line without being fully tested.

So You Win – Slow to begin and tightened for room shortly after.

Spectroscope – Over-raced during the early and middle stages.

Ballistic Boy – Over-raced for a short distance passing the 1300m.

Junction – Over-raced during the middle stages.

Reckless Choice – Began awkwardly. Obliged to race in restricted room near the 1400m.

Grey Missile – R Fradd reported that with the addition of blinkers for todays event, the gelding over-raced when leading and in his opinion, this had a detrimental effect on the horses performance.

A Man To Match – Stewards accepted the explanation provided by trainer Tony Gollan for the late declaration of rider.

Articus – Raced wide throughout.

In His Stride – Raced wide without cover.

Red Stina – Slow to begin.



Race 9: KREW RACING Class 6 Handicap 1400 metres

Tokoriki Lad – Began awkwardly. Raced ungenerously and got its head up over the concluding stages.

Love Struck – Post race veterinary examination revealed the horse to have been galloped on the off hind.

Ziemba – Slow to begin and tightened for room.

The Sinner – Over-raced during the early and middle stages.

The Tax Accountant – Raced wide without cover.

Fasano – Slow to begin.

Plenty – Began awkwardly. Over-raced during the early stages and steadied from heels near the 700m.
