BRUTUS – Raced keenly with its head in the air throughout the early and middle stages.
 
BRIS VEGAS – Slow to begin.
 
LIGHTHORSE – Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
BLAZING HARADA – Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
Race 3:TAROOM PHARMACY CLASS B HANDICAP – 1200m  
 
SMARTY JACK – Slow into stride.
 
OURLASTPENNY – Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
 
 
JABBS – Slow to begin. Pulled up by its rider shortly after the finish. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have sustained a near fore tendon injury. Trainer B. Fitzgerald was advised that gelding will require a veterinary certificate as well as a trial to the satisfaction of stewards prior to returning to racing. Mr Fitzgerald further advised that it is his intention to retire the gelding.
 
Following the event Jockey C. Rogers was assessed and subsequently stood down by the Queensland Ambulance Service after sustaining an injury to the left hand and right knee. Jockey Rogers was advised that she will require a medical certificate prior to returning to racing.
 
 
Race 4:PHIPPS FAMILY TRUST RATINGS BAND 0 - 55 HANDICAP – 1400m
 
MS WICKED NICCI – Declared a late scratching at 3:05pm due to no riders being available. No deductions applicable.
 
MALVAGIO – Began awkwardly. Jockey J. Missen’s licence to ride in races was suspended for a period of seven days under AR132(5) to commence midnight 17th October 2020 and to conclude midnight 24th October 2020 for his use of the whip on more than seventeen occasions.
 
PRETTY SONG – Slow to begin. Slow into stride. Raced wide without cover from the 600m.

 
 
Race 5:LEICHHARDT HOTEL OPEN HANDICAP – 1400m
 
MAGIC WISHES – Raced ungenerously throughout.
