Race 1:  A.E. Smith Class 6 Plate – 1200m
 
SEPTIMO – Once arriving at the barriers broke its tongue-tie. When attempting to replace the tongue-tie the gelding became very fractious and that piece of gear was unable to be replaced and as such raced without its tongue-tie today.   Had a tendency to overrace in the early and middle stages of the race and as a result raced 3 wide without cover.
 
MOLONGLE FIRE - Delayed the start when proving difficult to load. Trainer B. Williams was advised that a warning would be placed on its barrier manners.
 
MEXICAN MOUNTAIN – Slow to begin.
 
BEAU JET – Slow to begin.
 
WE FOUND IT – Shifted to a 3 wide position leaving the 600m and raced wide from that point onwards.
 
 
 
 
Race 2: Caltex Yabulu Maiden H’cap – 1200m
 
EUCHARIST - Slow to begin.
 
VEHEMENT – Slow to begin. Raced 3 wide without cover for the majority of the race.
 
WAKOOL – Slow to begin.
 
DAESY DANORO – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
MAHARG – Raced wide for the majority of the race and forced wider near the 900m by another runner.
 
TEXAS GAL – Raced wide for the majority of the race and shifted out near the 900m, forcing another runner wider.
 
MICHELIN FIVE STAR – Rider J. Stanley reported following the event that the gelding had a tendency to hang in for the majority of the race.
 
AGILITY – Rider M. Abe was reprimanded for excessive use of the whip prior to 100m.
 
 
Race 3:  Pallarenda Stakes QTIS 2yo C&G Maiden Plate – 1000m
 
ALEXANDER THE GREY – Delayed the start when it dislodged its rider en route to the barriers. Rider C. Jokic declared herself free of injury and a veterinary examination of the gelding revealed no abnormality and was cleared to start. Put its head up on top of the barrier gates as the start was effected, losing ground. Raced greenly in the early and middle stages.
 
LUCKY ANGUS – Slow to begin. Raced greenly in the early and middle stages.
 
MAD IRISH TYCOON – Began awkwardly. Raced greenly in the middle stages. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
TOSCAVALE ROAD – As F. Edwards was not riding at today’s meeting due to illness he was replaced by L. Tilley. After being slow to begin was then inconvenienced by another runner, which shifted out at the start.
 
BEER ‘N’ SMOKES – Began awkwardly and shifted out at the start, inconveniencing another runner. Had a tendency to hang out for the majority of the race. A post race veterinary examination of the gelding revealed lacerations to both hind legs. Trainer L. McCormack was advised that a veterinary clearance must be provided prior to the horse being permitted to race again.
 
LOUD ‘N’ LOOSE – Hung out rounding the home turn.
 
CRAIGLEA HARVEY – Raced 3 wide without cover for the majority of the race.
 
 
Race 4:  Pallarenda Stakes QTIS 2yo Fillies Maiden Plate – 1000m
 
WOOHOO GIRL – Declared a late scratching at 2.19 pm by order of the stewards acting on veterinary advice when the filly was fractious in the tie-up stalls becoming cast and sustaining a laceration to its near fore pastern. Trainer T. Button was advised he must provide a veterinary clearance prior to the horse starting again.  
 
MISSION ROAD – Slow to begin. Raced greenly and hung out near the 500m, inconveniencing another runner.
 
EL OF A SAGA – Raced greenly for the majority of the race. Inconvenienced by another runner leaving the 500m for a short distance before shifting to that runner’s inside near the 400m to obtain clear running. Shifted in abruptly when struck with the whip near the 100m, inconveniencing another runner.
 
GOTTA BE BETTER – Inconvenienced by another runner near the 100m, which shifted in.
 
OUR GIRL TAMIYA – Shifted out when struck with the whip leaving the 200m before being corrected, and again when struck with the whip near the 100m shifted out, again having to be corrected.
 
 
Race 5: The Mater Health Services QTIS 3yo H’cap – 1200m
 
THE TAX ACCOUNTANT – Lunged at the front barrier gates prior to the start. Blundered on jumping. Had a tendency to lay out in the middle stages.
 
HOT TOP – Began awkwardly.
 
RUBY GEORGE – Slow to begin.
 
GOWAY GIRL – Slow to begin.
 
AETHERIUS – Slow to begin.
 
BATTLE – Began awkwardly. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
LITTLE ARROWS – Was steadied off heels near the 1000m and shifted out, hampering another runner. Laid out rounding the home turn.
 
CRAIGLEA ELLA – Hampered by another runner, which shifted out near the 1000m. Improved onto heels, having to be steadied near the 800m.
 
 
Race 6:   Colliers International Open H’cap – 1400m
 
IT AND A BIT – Had a tendency to overrace in the early stages.
 
BEST HOFFA – Rider S. Wilson was cautioned in regards to the use of his whip prior to the 100m.
 
 
Race 7:  Jim Roberts Locksmith Benchmark 65 H’cap – 1609m
 
ROBABANK – Stewards advised that a gear change notification of winkers off for this start was incorrect, and it would race in winkers for today’s race which was not gear change. This was notified via media outlets.
 
BEAUTIFUL LOVE – Began awkwardly.
 
MARTIAL ART – Slow to begin. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
FORGIVE ME – Rider D. Adam was cautioned in regards to the use of his whip prior to the 100m.
 
 
Race 8: Happy Birthday Kevin Class 2 Plate – 1200m
 
KANUI – Began very awkwardly and threw its head in the air for a short distance.
 
THAI BOXING – Slow to begin.
 
WILHELMINA – Slow to begin.
 
LIEUTENANT DAN – Brushed with another runner on 2 occasions shortly after the start. Overraced in the early stages.
 
SI D’AMOUR – Brushed with another runner on 2 occasions shortly after the start.  Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
REGAL EMBRACE – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
