Following a stable inspection Wednesday 14/08/2019, trainer T. Bannon was fined the sum of $200 in that she allowed an unlicensed person handle a thoroughbred.    
 
Race 1:  TAB QTIS 3yo H’cap – 1000m
 
LUNCH WITH COOPS – Began awkwardly and shifted in, bumping another runner and lost ground.
 
BETTAHONEY – Began awkwardly and was bumped by another runner, which shifted in and lost ground.  Reluctant to hold its position near the 900m when crowded for room by another runner, which shifted in.
 
AMELLIA’S RAINBOW – Slow to begin.
 
SHE’S MAGANDA – Shifted in, crowding another runner near the 900m.  Rider C. Whiteley was advised to show greater care.
 
 
 
Race 2: Track Cat Memorial Maiden H’cap – 1000m
 
TA CHANSON – Shifted outwards abruptly on jumping, dislodging rider J. Stanley shortly after the start. Jockey Stanley was examined by the ambulance officers following this incident and was cleared to fulfil further engagements. Trainer T. Bannon was advised that the horse must gain a further barrier certificate before being permitted to race again.
 
THE FRONTIER – Slow to begin.
 
QUEZMAR – Slow to begin.
 
FANTIZZY GIRL – Checked near the 900m from the heels of another runner, which shifted in.
 
CINEMATOGRAPHY – Rider S. Sheargold pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding, in that he failed to make sufficient effort to prevent his mount from shifting in near the 800m, causing FANTIZZY GIRL (P. Cullen) to be checked, losing its rightful running.  Jockey Sheargold was suspended from riding in races for a period 8 days to commence midnight 24/08/2019 and to expire midnight 1/09/2019.
 
CHAMPAGNE TILLY – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
ZULU TUK - Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
JACK REACHER – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
Race 3: Feed 2 Go Open H’cap – 1000m
 
BLAZING STEEL – Became fractious in the barriers and became momentarily cast, dislodging rider L. Tilley.  The gelding was declared a late scratching at 2.46 pm on veterinary advice.  On the announcement of correct weight, all monies invested on the horse were ordered to be refunded, with the following deductions applicable.
 
3 cents in the dollar on the face value of win bets
5 cents in the dollar on the face value of win bets for the place
9 cents in the dollar on the face value of 2nd place bets
4 cents in the dollar on the face value of 3rd place bets
 
Trainer G. Bourke was advised that the horse must obtain a further barrier certificate before being permitted to race again.
 
EASY WEEKEND – Slow to begin.
 
MAKING AMENDS – Slow to begin.  Placed in restricted room near the 800m, having to be restrained. Hung out in the home straight, shifting wider on the track. A post race veterinary examination revealed deep bruising to its off hind tendon. Trainer D. Jones was advised that a veterinary clearance would be required prior to the horse being permitted to race again.
 
MORE THAN A SONG – Shifted inside the line of the rail approaching the 800m, and then shifted out, placing another runner in restricted room.
 
CHAPEL ROAD – Hung in before being corrected near the 800m, placing another runner in restricted room.

SCHERZOSO – Began awkwardly.
 
WARWICK AVENUE – Began awkwardly. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
CASTA – Raced ungenerously in the early and middle stages and had a tendency to lay out.
 
SET THE BAR HIGH – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
Race 5: Carlton & United Breweries Benchmark 60 H’cap – 1400m
 
LOVE ME RUBY – Slow to begin.
 
MARTIAL ART – Began awkwardly.
 
PERSISTENT SHADOW – Slow to begin. Held up for clear running near the 400m and until the early part of the home straight. Raced wide for the majority of the event.
 
BUXTON – Threw its head in the air when being restrained near the 1000m. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
CANDY GIRL – Held up for a short distance near the 400m and was unable to improve.
 
BATTLE - Held up for a short distance near the 400m and was unable to improve.
 
ARNO BAY – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
BATTLE – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
Race 6: Brown Brothers Benchmark 69 H’cap – 1200m
 
AIRACOBRA – Began awkwardly.
 
ESCADAY – Slow to begin.
 
MALIZIA – Slow to begin. Finished tailed off.  Trainer D. Jones was advised that the nomination of the gelding would be refused at TAB meetings until such times as its form improved by way of country meetings.
 
LET’S GO TO RIO – Slow to begin.  Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
INVISIBLE GIRL – Began very awkwardly and lost ground. Raced wide in the early stages.
 
SWEET PERFUME – Shifted in slightly near the 800m, crowding runners to its inside.
 
DEVILS PINCH – Shifted in slightly near the 800m, crowding runners to its inside.
 
BOYER – Restrained approaching the 800m when it had a tendency overrace, shifting in slightly.
 
FINE ‘N’ DEVINE – Had difficulty obtaining clear running from leaving the 400m until leaving the 200m.
 
Race 7: NQ Amateur Raceday Saturday, 24 August Class 2 Plate – 1000m
 
LUCKY CONNECTION – Began awkwardly and shifted out, tightening runners to its outside.
 
OTHERSIDE – Tightened for room on jumping.
 
WALK THE TALK – Tightened for room on jumping and shifted out, bumping another runner. Over-raced in the early stages.
 
MIRACLES APLENTY – Slow to begin.
 
GRAZIE MILLE BELLA – Shifted outwards at the start, tightening runners to its outside. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
RISING BOOM – Tightened for room on jumping and lost ground.
 
TELL EVERYBODY – Tightened for room on jumping and lost ground.  Raced in restricted room rounding the home turn and had a tendency to lay out.
 
ROCK BABY ROLL – Shifted in on jumping, tightening runners to its inside. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
CHEZBLACK – Bumped shortly after the start. Raced ungenerously in the early stages. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
