As D. Adams was indisposed and not riding at today’s meeting, he was replaced as per the Stewards Summary sheet.  
 
Race 1: Follow The TTC On Facebook Maiden H’cap – 1000m
 
GET IN THE GROVE – Began awkwardly and shifted out, having to be steadied from heels. Rider C. Whitely lost the use of his near-side rein for a short distance near the 250m.
 
HORORA VEL – Laid in under pressure over the concluding stages.
 
DANCE AROUND – Momentarily steadied approaching the winning post when another runner shifted in under pressure.
 
COLONEL PENANGA – Raced wide without cover for the majority of the race.
 
GALIAZZO – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
Race 2: Racing @ Cluden Saturday 29 February Benchmark 72 H’cap – 1400m
 
LADY SKILLS – Slow to begin.
 
ROYAL SUPREME – Slow to begin. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
MASON’S CHANCE – Raced ungenerously in the early stages.
 
 
Race 3: Hygain Benchmark 69 H’cap – 1000m
 
GOULDIAN – Slow to begin.
 
NIC’S TIME – Faltered leaving the 800m and was retired from the race.  A post race veterinary examination revealed the mare to have injured its near foreleg.  Due to the extent of the injury the horse was euthanized on humane grounds.
 
OUR ATOM – Momentarily hampered near the 700m and shifted wider to avoid the stricken horse.
 
STARENA – Shifted wider on the track approaching the 600m to avoid the stricken horse.
 
BLAZING STEEL – Unable to obtain clear running for a short distance after entering the home straight.
 
Race 4: Magic Millions Sale 16-17 March 2020 QTIS 3yo H’cap - 1000m
 
GOLDIES ARCHER – Delayed the start slightly after becoming fractious in the barriers and was declared a late scratching at 4.05 pm when the jockey injured his left hand. Subsequent to the event all monies invested on the horse were ordered to be refunded with the following deductions applicable.

5 cents in the dollar on the face value of place bets for the win
5 cents in the dollar on the face value of 2nd place bets
0 cents in the dollar on the face value of 3rd place bets
 
Trainer W. Winters was advised that a further barrier certificate must be provided prior to the horse racing again.
 
KWIKKILLA – Slow to begin.
 
WOOHOO GIRL – Raced keenly in the early stages.
 
Race 5: TAB Download The App Ratings Band 0-60 H’cap – 1609m
 
SUPER MARIO – Slow to begin.
 
EMSHALKY – Slow to begin.
 
COUSIN MUSCLES – Shifted out of its own accord near the 50m before being corrected.
 
ZERO SECRETS – Raced wide for the majority of the race.  A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities after racing below market expectation.
 
TRY BEFORE DUBAI – Raced wide for the majority of the race. A post race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have soreness in its near-fore knee.  Trainer R. Finch was advised that a veterinary clearance must be provided before the horse would be permitted to race again.
 
Race 6: Magicmillions.com.au Class 3 Plate – 1200m
 
TALK ABOUT A SAGA – Delayed the start slightly when proving difficult to load. Began awkwardly and then crowded for room and lost ground. Trainer J. Doolan was advised that a warning would be placed on the gelding’s barrier manners.
 
REGAL EMBRACE – Raced wide without cover for the majority of the race.
 
OWENS – Finished tailed off. A post race veterinary examination  failed to reveal any abnormality. Trainer S Royes was advised that the gelding’s nomination would be refused at TAB venues until such time there is a form improvement by way of country meetings.
 
Race 7: Brown Brothers Class 1 H’cap – 1000m
 
BLAZING TALES – Slow to begin.
 
TA CHANSON – Shifted outwards abruptly on jumping and lost ground.  Shifted out and bumped another runner near the 400m.  Trainer T. Bannon was advised that a warning would be placed on the horse’s barrier manners.
 
BAUHINIA TED – Began awkwardly. Bumped by another runner near the 400m, becoming unbalanced and as a result became awkward on the heels of another runner, having to be steadied.
 
WAY TOO SASSY – Raced ungenerously in the middle stages.
 
J’ADORE – Laid out under pressure in the home straight.
 
HE’S STIRLING – A post race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have bled from both nostrils during the race.  Connections were advised that the horse would face the mandatory ban of 3 months from racing, and must gallop to the satisfaction of stewards over 1000m before being permitted to race again.
