Slow to begin. Got its head up when racing keenly passing the 1400m. When questioned regarding the horse’s seemingly improved performance, trainer D. Murphy advised that at its run two starts ago at Ipswich on 5 December 2018 it hard raced forward and had pulled hard and consequently failed to run on. She added that at its previous start at Doomben on 19 December 2018 she was satisfied with its performance, having not been beaten far in a larger field, and she believed the gelding was better suited in today’s smaller field.
