Commenced to overrace after being crossed by ZOUVILLA shortly after the start, resented being restrained and threw its head in the air on a number of occasions. Held up approaching the 400m and after passing the 400m was disappointed for a run to the outside of ZOUVILLA and to the inside of TRACY MAY before altering course back to the inside near the 300m to secure clear running. Had to be eased approaching the 50m when crowded for room by ZOUVILLA, which laid in.

After racing in a forward position throughout, when placed under pressure rounding the home turn failed to respond and weakened over the concluding stages. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the filly to be displaying cardiac arrhythmia. Trainer T. Gollan was advised that TRACY MAY must trial satisfactorily and he must produce a veterinary clearance, including the results of an ECG, prior to the filly being permitted to race again.
