Jumped inwards at the start and hampered BELLISSIMI AMICI. Overraced in the early stages. Shifted out around the heels of KASEAR near the 1100m and bumped BANGERS AND MAYO, taking that runner wider on the track. M. Du Plessis was advised to show greater care when shifting ground in similar circumstances. Jockey Du Plessis reported that his mount raced quite greenly today, carrying the winkers for the first time and the blinkers off, and in his opinion has come to the end of its current preparation. Trainer K. Schweida advised that the filly would now be sent for a spell.

Held up in the home straight. Attempted to shift to the outside of FLEET DOVE LEAVING THE 300m and soon afterwards FLEET DOVE shifted out under pressure and then near the 100m IMALI shifted to the inside of FLEET DOVE and that runner shifted in soon afterwards, resulting in BANGERS AND MAYO and KASEAR being severely hampered.
