Stewards questioned Trainer P Nolan (Jnr) in relation to the seemingly improved performance. Mr Nolan advised that as the gelding was 2nd up from a spell today, it derived a significant fitness advantage from its first up run. He added that he had also removed the Tongue Tie and added Blinkers to the geldings gear for today’s event and based on those factors he had expected an improved performance in todays event..
