Doughty explained that the filly has always shown ability and at its recent starts prior to going for a spell acquitted herself well. In the lead up to today’s event the filly has worked and trialled well. Mrs Doughy further added that in light of that the stable expected a forward showing in todays event. Stewards accepted her explanation.
