Stood flat-footed and missed the start by several lengths. Rider M. Hellyer reported that the horse performed below expectations and felt uncomfortable in its action. A post-race veterinary examination revealed that the mare had cardiac arrhythmia. Trainer J. Edwards was advised that the mare must trial satisfactorily and he must produce a veterinary clearance, including the results of an ECG, prior to the horse being permitted to race again.
