Near the 200m, tightened between OUR ROCKY, which laid out under pressure, and APITHANOS, which had been carried in marginally by CELTIC TIGER, which was laying in and, as a result, INCORRUPTBILITY had to be checked by its rider.

Near the 200m, shifted out whilst laying out and made contact with INCORRUPTIBLITY resulting in OUR ROCKY being bumped on the hindquarters and turned outwards. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in its off fore leg. Trainer D. Pearson was advised that OUR ROCKY will require a veterinary clearance prior to racing again.
