Began awkwardly shifted out and bumped FOUND THE MARK. Near the 1000m, when overracing, had to be steadied when improving onto heels of HAPPISBURGH. When questioned regarding tactics adopted, rider R Wiggins stated that he was instructed to ride the gelding quiet as at its last start, it overraced and settled outside the leader. He further stated that after gaining a position near the rear of the field with cover, his mount settled well and from the 800m he attempted to put HANGIN’ HIGH into the race as it has a tendency to be left flat footed. R Wiggins was satisfied with today’s performance.
