Rider J. Byrne reported that the horse did not travel comfortably throughout the event and indicated that the horse was holding its breath at various stages of the event. He added that he had concerns throughout in relation to the horse’s breathing. He also advised that he recommended to connections to restrict the horse’s races to distances up to 1400m. On post-race veterinary examination the horse was found to have blood in its mouth. Trainer S. Kendrick confirmed that the horse would be sent for a spell.
