A post race veterinary examination of the horse, which raced in a handy position and weakened over the final stages and proved disappointing, failed to reveal any significant abnormalities. When questioned regarding the performance of the filly, rider T. Harrison explained that from the wide barrier today she had to apply a little more pressure in the early stages to obtain the lead than she would have liked, and during the race was slightly pressured by a runner to her outside. She further added that at its last start the filly obtained a soft lead on a tighter track without being pressured
