Tightened for room at the start and lost ground. Stewards asked jockey Orman to comment on the performance of the gelding. He indicated he had been instructioned not to pressure the horse out of the barriers, and added when tightened for room at the start he was obliged to race at the tail of the field. Jockey Orman further stated that as this was its first start he was required to pressure his mount in order to attempt to remain in contact with the main body of the field, however when placed under pressure in the home straight finished the race off well, and, in his opinion, he would expect
