Jumped away awkwardly. Bumped and forced wider approaching the 400m. When asked to comment on the seemingly disappointing performance, jockey R. Wiggins indicated from the wide alley he was caught wide in the event and was of the opinion that this and carrying 59.5 kilograms on a rain-affected track were factors that had an overall detrimental effect on the performance. A post race veterinary failed to reveal any significant abnormalities.
