Slow to begin. Clipped heels and blundered shortly after the start. Following this the horse took charge of the rider and improved on to heels near the 1000m and as a result shifted wider on the track to avoid heels and continued to overrace despite the efforts of its rider and improved to the lead passing the 800m. Trainer C. Geran was advised that a warning would be placed on the mare.
