Had to be eased and lost ground when racing in restricted room near the 900m when TAPA, which was racing to its outside, commenced to race ungenerously with its head in the air and shifted in marginally. As a result, WANT TO BOLT shifted wider on the track and raced wide for the remainder.

Raced 3 wide without cover throughout. When commencing to weaken near the 400m the horse was steadied to avoid the heels of LOVE AND LIES (E. Ljung) which was taken out by VICTORY TOAST (A. Sewell) which shifted out to secure clear running. Jockey Sewell was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances in the future.
