On return to scale, jockey K. Yoshida reported that, after obtaining a mid-field position, the gelding came off the bit near the 700m and was under hard riding from that point. He did however advise that the gelding ran on fairly over the concluding stages and, in his opinion, may be better suited over further distances than that of today’s race moving forward in its preparation.
