Momentarily held up after straightening before shifting out to secure clear running passing the 200m.
After beginning from a wide barrier, the mare was unable to obtain cover and was ridden forward in the early stages, but after passing the 1400m commenced to overrace and was then allowed to stride forward to obtain the position outside the leader passing the 1100m.
Held up from the 400m until approaching the 250m. Disappointed for a run between TRICKY MIX and SHUDA KNOWN BETTER and went to the line without being fully tested.
Raced wide rounding the home turn.
Apprentice B. Nothdurft reported that it was his intention to race in a handy position but after finding the lead without pressure the mare raced keenly when pressure was applied by SHUDA KNOWN BETTER and INCHING CLOSER and, as a result, TRICKY MIX refused to settle. Apprentice Nothdurft added that, in his opinion, this may have had a bearing on the mare’s finishing effort over the final stages.
Began awkwardly and lost ground. Raced wide rounding the home turn.
