Rider reported that the gelding travelled comfortably during the event, however when placed under pressure, failed to run on as she had expected and proved disappointing. Trainer K. Kemp expressed disappointment with the run of the gelding however could offer no explanation for the below market expectation performance. Mr Kemp did however advise that in light of the performance he may experiment with the horse’s gear for its next start.
