GENERAL

 

 

Race 1 – Maiden 331m

Even start.  WITCH HUNTER checked off the heels of SHAYLOR JOE and lost ground entering the back straight resulting in interference to ARLIE CRUSADER.  HANNAH ALLEN checked off the heels of GAGAN LASSOO and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  WITCH HUNTER checked across the heels of SHAYLOR JOE and lost ground on the turn into the front straight resulting in WITCH HUNTER bumping HANNAH ALLEN.

 

The greyhound WITCH HUNTER was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 2 – Maiden Heat 1 331m

Even start.  FAST SHACKO was tightened for racing room and lost ground shortly after the start.  NIGHT’S WATCH checked off the heels of ROMEO RAGTOP and lost ground prior to entering the back straight.  ROMEO RAGTOP checked off the heels of SOPHIE’S GIRL and lost considerable in the back straight.  DESTRUCTOR and LENNY BENZ bumped on the turn out of the back straight resulting in LENNY BENZ losing ground and FAST SHACKO checking off the heels of DESTRUCTOR.  OPEN MIND raced wide on the turn out of the back straight.  ROMEO RAGTOP shifted out across the heels of FAST SHACKO on the turn into the front straight resulting in LENNY BENZ being forced to race wide.  OPEN MIND raced wide into and down the home straight.  NIGHT’S WATCH checked across the heels of GRUMBLE MISS and lost some ground just prior to the finish line.

 

Race 3 – Maiden Heat 2 331m

CASS’ CASS was best to begin.  ALOTA THOUGHT, CONDOR and MORTAL WOMBAT were slow to begin.  MORTAL WOMBAT checked off the heels of CONDOR and lost ground entering the back straight.  ALOTA THOUGHT shifted out in the back straight bumping heavily with HANSON TRONNY.  DANNI’S CHOICE shifted out on the turn out of the back straight bumping DOTHRAKI out onto LUCKY CATCH, causing both those greyhounds to become unbalanced and lose ground.  LUCKY CATCH bumped heavily with HANSON TRONNY causing that greyhound to lose considerable ground.  CONDOR raced wide on the turn into the home straight.  DOTHRAKI checked across the heels of DANNI’S CHOICE on the turn into the home straight.

 

The greyhound HANSON TRONNY was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 4 – Maiden Final 331m

Even start with ALOTA FUTURE slow to begin.  ALL BECAUSE checked off the heels of ALOTA FUTURE and lost ground entering the back straight resulting in interference to GOTCHA NOW.  MASTER MAGOO shifted out across the heels of JAGGED IMAGE approaching the turn out of the back straight resulting in MISS CORELKO being checked.  MISS CORELKO raced wide on the turn out of the back straight.  JAGGED IMAGE and JAZZ ME UP bumped on several occasions in the front straight resulting in JAZZ ME UP suffering some inconvenience.

 

Race 5 – Novice 331m

Even start with BEEJAY MCROCKET marginally slow to begin.  SUGAR RAY ROSSO was tightened for racing room and lost ground prior to entering the back straight.  SHAYLOR HARRY checked off the heels of GOLD STEEL and lost ground in the back straight resulting in interference to BANK ON TARGET.  GRAND ROSIE checked off the heels of ELL’S ALL CLASS and lost ground entering the back straight.  SPRING QUAYS checked off the heels of BEEJAY MCROCKET and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.

 

Race 6 – Novice 331m

LAND LORD’S DIP was best to begin.  EDDIE WONG WAY knuckled over as the start was effected.  GUMTREE KID and KASEY’S TURBO were tightened for racing room and lost ground shortly after the start.  UNLUCKY MAX checked across the hindquarters of CORY’S DIAMOND approaching the turn out of the back straight resulting in UNLUCKY MAX falling.  GUMTREE KID checked off the heels of CORY’S DIAMOND and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  LAND LORD’S DIP and LEADFOOT EXPRESS bumped approaching the turn out of the back straight.

 

The greyhound UNLUCKY MAX was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the near hind leg and was stood down for a period of 21 days.

 

Race 7 – 4th Grade 395m

Even start.  SHEBA’S DIVA and RENATUS were tightened for racing room and lost ground approaching the 1st turn after the start.  GRAND ROMAN checked off the heels of KINGSBRAE BUDDY and lost ground on the turn into the back straight.  MAGIC GALO and ELIREA JANE were tightened for racing room and became unbalanced and lost ground on the turn into the back straight, resulting in some inconvenience to WINGED ELITE.  SHEBA’S DIVA checked off the heels of GRAND ROMAN and lost ground on the turn into the back straight.  CUZZY BROMAC checked off the heels of KINGSBRAE BUDDY and lost ground on the turn into the back straight and again entering the back straight.  ELIRA JANE checked off the heels of MAGIC GALO and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  WINGED ELITE and KINGSBRAE BUDDY bumped just prior to the finish line.

 

Race 8 – 2/3rd Grade 395m

Even start with FENRIR slow to begin.  GOLD TOTAL shifted out as the start was effected bumping DIAMOND OSPREY onto SHANAE’S MAGIC, resulting in DIAMOND OSPREY losing ground and with some inconvenience to FENRIR.  WAZZA KING and HOWARD HENO bumped on the turn into the back straight resulting in HOWARD HENO shifting out bumping SILVER WING who lost considerable ground as a result.  FENRIR and SILVER WING bumped prior to entering the back straight.  GOLD TOTAL checked off the heels of FENRIR and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  DIAMOND OSPREY shifted out on the turn into the front straight causing some inconvenience to SILVER WING.

 

Race 9 – 5th Grade 331m

SIGN POST was best to begin.  SIGN POST, SON OF PRADA and SUMMER’S RACER raced tight into the back straight resulting in SON OF PRADA losing ground.  SUMMER’S RACER checked off the heels of SIGN POST and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  BLUE LEXUS raced wide on the turn out of the back straight.

 

Race 10 – 5th Grade 395m

Even start with COLROB GIRL slow to begin.  FABULOUS GARY crossed from a wide position approaching the turn into the back straight resulting in EARLY SHIRLEY checking off the heels of FABULOUS GARY and also tightening SHE’S MY DARLING in onto RIKASSO LILLY, onto MUMMA’S HOPE resulting in all these greyhounds losing considerable ground.  COLROB GIRL also suffered interference as a result of this incident.  MUMMA’S HOPE and EARLY SHIRLEY bumped heavily on the turn into the front straight resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing considerable ground.  MUMMA’S HOPE and RIKASSO LILLY bumped heavily in the front straight resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing ground.

 

The greyhound IVORY was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 11 – 5th Grade 395m

Even start with PREMIER JET and DAVE’S DRINKING slow to begin.  SOMETHIN’ FIZZY checked off the heels of MANYUARA MISS and lost ground approaching the turn into the back straight resulting in interference to HOW MUCH.  MAGIC BEAU checked off the heels of FABULOUS WALL and lost ground and prior to entering the back straight resulting in interference to HOW MUCH, who in turn fell back onto PREMIER JET causing PREMIER JET to be checked.  HOW MUCH checked off the heels of MAGIC BEAU and lost ground entering the back straight.  MISS MULLIGAN checked off the heels of FABULOUS WALL on the turn out of the back straight resulting in MISS MULLIGAN falling causing interference to SOMETHIN’ FIZZY.  PREMIER JET and HOW MUCH also lost ground as a result of the incident.  HOW MUCH raced wide in the home straight.

 

The greyhound MISS MULLIGAN was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 12 – Masters 395m

BLUE DEN was best to begin.  CHERYL VALE and SUDOKU REBEL were slow to begin.  ZAFONIC’S LADY crossed from a wide position approaching the 1st turn after the start tightening BLUE DEN onto EPIC HORIZON, onto SANDY’S GIFT onto WALLY WHO CALLS, resulting in all these greyhounds becoming unbalanced, causing BLUE DEN to lose considerable ground with CHERYL VALE checking across the heels of BLUE DEN.  BLUE DEN and SANDY’S GIFT bumped on several occasions in the front straight resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing ground in the straight.
